I own a spa in Alexandria and we wanted to get in-ceiling speakers in stalled for our music since we have extremely noisy upstairs neighbors. “Working with Jason at Amicus Green Building Center was a lifesaver for me. I bought a recently-built condo in 2021, and I was having chemical sensitivity reactions to the materials in the condo, so I found Amicus Green online to try to find safer, less-toxic materials to put in my condo so I could actually live in it comfortably. He helped me order and color some AFM zero-VOC paints, and I was able to have the contractor pick them up from Amicus and bring them to where I lived nearby. I was also able to order some Earthweave 100% wool carpet and pads to replace the original carpets, and also worked with the contractor to pick up the materials directly from Amicus to install them.The combination of the zero-VOC paints, the Earthweave 100% wool carpet, and a couple of Austin Air carbon filters were enough to make my condo livable for me, and I'll always be grateful to Amicus for that. Jason was a helpful resource for gaining access to these types of natural home renovation materials, that I normally would not have had access to otherwise. I highly recommend Amicus Green Building Center for the safest, least toxic materials for any home renovation needs.”

“In the past while shopping at Home Depot (Bethesda), it was a struggle. Whether it was because of Covid or the lack of staffing, you would need to figure out things yourself. Sometimes you were very lucky when the staff would at least point in the directions of what you were looking for. Today, we stopped by to pick a masonry drill bit set and the customer service were through the roof! It was amazing! Wow, we were shocked at the level of customer service! Great job!!! Don”

“This is a huge store, & I am just referring to the regular store not the attached equipment rental area. I was here on a weekday morning, & I saw employees everywhere I looked. I never had a problem finding someone to ask for help from. I recommend this Home Depot for all your seasonal decorations & your home improvement, fixit and related maintenance items. There is also a nice, large and clean men's restroom. The Christmas decorations you can get here are awesome & more than enough to decorate both the inside & outside of your home in the spirit of the season. If you are looking for a good sale they are in every department of the store. There was clearance in the gardening department and winter hand warmers on sale at the entrance. “It's a place to get flowers plants and tools for gardening. I have been visiting Home Depot very often this year for my flower garden projects. I also ordered rose plants online but they're not that good. They have a variety of rose plants at a reasonable price.”

Access is pretty good but parking is limited is the only drawback.”

“Wonderful garden department. Very convenient and store representatives are usually helpful or at least try to be (Ace Hardware has much better trained and knowledgeable store reps). Whenever any packaged product is bought, however, usually go to the hardware/fastener section to purchase real screws or hardware for the product, as sometimes the included hardware is of such poor quality that they don't hold up, e.g., screw heads that shear off when you use a power screwdriver - good luck digging out the screw post. Nails that are of questionable integrity and content. Stainless steel hardware should not rust. Nonetheless, very happy that they have and offer what they do, as they are very convenient. Also find their Android app to be very convenient.”

“We just walked in to the Home Depot Design Center and within the 10 minutes they found us a designer. Kayla became our friend after our second meeting! She is very friendly and knowledgeable. She understands our needs and helped us to design our kitchen and ordered everything. Then she scheduled us a private dinner at their very own fantastic kitchen in the Design Center. We enjoyed Chef Eric‘s amazing food and felt very special. I highly recommend Home Depot Design Center to everyone.Services: Remodeling”

“I have found the staff at Lowe’s kentlands to be very helpful. I recently bought a large outdoor plant pot. It was heavy plastic and required at least 3 holes to be drilled for drainage. I don’t have a drill at home and just asked if someone could drill the holes for me in the store. They said ask someone in hardware. I found a nice man who worked at the register named Jay who said I can help you. When he had a few minutes he found a drill and put drainage holes in the pot. Thank you Jay!!! I was able to go home. Fill it with soil and plant the hydrangea I bought. I appreciate the extra effort and customer service!!! Highly recommend Lowe’s in kentlands!”
