The notary at this branch has refused to do her job twice now. Both times I have requested a signature to be notarized, she has given me excuses and refused to help. Fortunately, there are other branches (Fallsgrove and Old Georgetown) with superior staff who did not hesitate to help.

Horrible staff and incompetent manager. The receptionist a male who was supposed to help my wife with a transaction. Seemingly moved away on purpose because they remembered our last complaint. He refused to help us.
The last time, we saw another customer complaint about the bad service from the staff. And the staff argued with the customer. Little after that we had the same problem with their behavior and their lack of professionalism.

Been a customer of this bank for more years than I care to disclose. Customer Service - what is that? If you try to call the branch to ask a question-the message tells you that they can't help you and to make an appointment. Then I have to wait two hours for an appointment when I just have a question about something they told me to do the day prior which of course did not work. But if you want to go in and sit down at their numerous unoccupied tables and chairs, I guess you can do that!

I have been a customer of capital one for many years. The service and quality has dwindled to non-existent. I have been chasing down money that should have never left my account for more than a month and there is no satisfaction in sight. I am leaving capital one at my earliest ability. One can no longer call a branch manager and customer service is wholly inept.

It’s not bad, sure didn’t see anyone at the new building at all, but I think once people figure it out and where it is, maybe it’ll be worth going to, although why there was no employees in the building is kinda odd to me, but at least when I used to go there, the tellers were somewhat friendly.

Worst bank out here. Had gone down the drain since buying Chevy Chase out. I recommend PNC Bank or Bank of America. The fees are also ridiculous. Capital one is a credit card company. Get out of banking as you are awful at it!!! You are great at screwing your customers over!!!

Do not trust this bank with your money. I had some checks that I ordered intercepted out of the mail. Someone wrote a bad check and deposited the check into a fake account at Capital One Bank. The signature was not at all similar in any way to my signature. The funds ( over $80,000) were withdrawn from my account without Capital One Bank doing any signature verification of the check. Capital One Bank then got a video recording of this person trying to withdraw the funds from the fake account by trying to get a cashiers check from the bank. The security at this bank is absolutely horrible. The bank never even investigated the case and never took any steps to try and catch the person that committed this fraud even when they had a video of the person doing it. This type of security at a bank is disgraceful.

Their automated answering machine is ridiculous and useless and frustrating. Trying to get to speak with a representative is virtually impossible.I'm moving my money to a bank where there is someone to talk to.
