Called this company on extremely short notice for a tire balance issue. I drove there five minutes after I called and they immediately took my truck in and fixed my tire balance issue. I thought the issue I was worse than it was but I left 15 minutes later with no more issues and an extremely reasonable bill. Thanks again!

Exceptional work, honest and professional. The pricing is very good, especially given you receive above par customer service. We have 3 vehicles serviced here. On the first visit to Total for one vehicle, they fixed a problem that a dealership service dept. in Frederick created and tried to hide. The Total team is very knowledgeable and helpful. This is the only company in my experience, who make car repairs an easy process.

My car was having problems starting so I figured that I'd go to the guy in town. I was pretty sure that it was the starter and I told Tad that. I get a call about two hours later telling me that the battery is dead and he wanted to put in a new battery. The battery was pretty new so I said that I'd go to the battery shop and get a warranty replacement. I went to the battery shop and told the battery guy what was going on. First thing, he put a load tester on the battery and it tested OK. Just to prove the point, he put a new battery in and I still had problems starting. So, no battery problem. I took my car to the shop in Rockville that usually worked on my cars and, sure enough, the starter was failing and was replaced. I went back to Tad and told him what happened and asked for a refund of the $60 I paid for the bogus diagnosis. Ha! He said that his guy had SMELLED the battery and he knew that it was bad. No refund. I figure that he wanted to charge me for a new battery, claim that the battery wasn't the problem, and then charge me for the starter. The battery lasted another four years. TAD? Never again.

Awesome and honest. On my way to the ferry, my AC in my Ford truck stopped working. Total Automotive immediately helped me, fixed the AC, and got me back on the highway within the hour! AC has never had an issue since.

I left a negative review about a year ago. I would like to apologize. They inspected a vehicle for me and listed multiple issues with the vehicle. Two other places didn't mention the issues. Over the last year, the vehicle has required most of the repairs they mentioned. I'm very sorry.

My car broke down at the McDonald's next door. Luckily, Total Automotive was open for business. They had it started, diagnosed and fixed within the hour. And they were friendly, too.
