About The Friendly Thrift Shop
The Friendly Thrift Shop is a 501(c)(3) entity that accepts donations of gently used clothing, baby and household items, and books, which they then sell to the general public. The proceeds from these sales fund college scholarships and support WUMCO (Western Upper Montgomery County Help), the Frederick Rescue Mission, and the 11 area churches that provide the all-volunteer staff. Customers describe the store as genuinely the best thrift store, with a friendly staff and a big selection of good quality items, even though the store is small. Many customers visit the shop regularly and never leave empty-handed.

genuinely the best thrift store i ever been 2 it’s like a real thrift store 2 since everything is so cheap but it’s not like u won’t get high quality clothes

The staff are true to the name of the store friendly. And even though the store is small it has a big selection of good items.
