The staff are true to the name of the store friendly. And even though the store is small it has a big selection of good items.

I just started shopping there for myself when they opened in the new building and I'm addicted! I try to stop in each week. I never leave empty handed.

About The Friendly Thrift Shop
A 501(c)(3) entity, the Friendly Thrift Shop accepts donations of gently used clothing, baby and household items and books and sell to the general public. Proceeds fund college scholarships and go to support WUMCO (Western Upper Montgomery County Help), the Frederick Rescue Mission and the 11 area churches that provide our all volunteer staff.
**Donations may ONLY be dropped during store hours. We cannot accept furniture, electronics, stuffed toys, exercise equipment, bicycles/helmets, car seats, medical devices or encyclopedias/textbooks.
