“The staff here are really nice and accommodating to our pups. We regularly bring our dogs there and use their self-service dog washing stations. They always have fresh towels and the water is the perfect warm temperature. They have several dog shampoo options including hypoallergenic, oatmeal, deodorizer, and shampoo with conditioner. Sometimes there’s a wait time but I’ve never had to wait more than 15 minutes. You can also prepay for dog baths and they give you a card that you show each time you return. You get one bath for free if you buy it at the time you give your dog a bath.Aside from their bath station, they have a wide array of pet food, treats, and other supplies. There’s always plenty of parking and the facility is clean. My dog accidentally did a messy #2 there and I was so embarrassed. I was trying to clean it up but the staff came to the rescue and didn’t make me feel like a pesky customer who couldn’t control my dog’s bowel movements. I was very grateful.”

“Best dog store ever! Not mainstream so they have very natural, high quality products. Stores like Petco and Petsmart sell a lot of dog food with harmful ingredients. They also have cool treats like checkenfeet and bone marrow that my dog is obsessed with! Forever my go to place!”

“I don't understand the bad reviews. We have used Canine Carousel since the original Herndon location where they used to groom our last dog, who had horrible anxiety, but the CC groomers always did the best they could with her. Today we frequent the Ashburn location for our two pups, a shih tzu and an anxious chihuahua, and they are great with both. Learning from our last dog, we knew that the shih tzu was going to need constant grooming, so we started working with her at home to practice as soon as we got her (3 months), with daily brushing, desensitization of buzzing or clipping sounds near her, etc. She got an A+ grade on her first visit and has been a regular client ever since. Both dogs are groomed by Sundown and they are the best! I don't know how they are able to clip our whiny, squirmy chihuahua's nails, but its done quickly and better than anything we can do with her at home, so I'm always grateful to have them take care of it. Extra bonus that they are conveniently located as well! I love being able to support small, family owned business.”

“This is the first time i’ve been to a pet store in loudoun county where everyone knows what they’re doing. The workers that helped me were highly experienced and answered all my questions! Ash in aquatics was very knowledgable and passionate and helped me pick out the best fish and plants! Nanette was also very friendly and let me and my friend watch her handle some animals which was very cool! I learned a lot today about animals and couldn’t have had a better time:) From the experience I had today, I will only be coming to this pet store from now on! Love this place!”

“First time grooming for our 5 Mo. old bernedoodle. Scheduled online, which was pretty easy. Store opens at 9 but grooming opens at 8. Someone was there to slide open the door since I wasn't sure how that was possible.We met April and she assessed Gus and helped me decide what type of cut would be good for him. She was thorough and caring and we are really happy with her work. Will be back!”
