Poolesville CVS is a warm, friendly place to shop. They had replaced Planet Oat, extra creamy oatmilk with a smaller, less desirable, more expensive brand in a plastic bottle. After shopping there, I was asked to take a survey. I told them how much it matters to the growing Vegan community in our town, that someone carries a good and decent brand of Oat Milk.I was surprised to receive an email from the manager saying that they were able to bring Planet Oat back to CVS. Today, I went to the store and saw it back in stock! Regular, and extra creamy. 5 of each, instead of just 3 of each. Amazing.Thank you CVS!

Trash store with trash customer service. I was there for UPS Access Point. They refused to accept my package because the worker didn’t want to move a package to fit mine in on the shelf, with mine being so light it could have been stacked on top. There was a huge space on the lower shelf where they put packages and all the worker had to do was move an existing package to the lower shelf. This is not the first time I’ve had issues with UPS Access Point. Sometimes their scanner is broken. Other times they have some other excuse. It’s also terribly overpriced. A gallon of milk was at one point more than twice than what you pay at the store. The only saving grace is that a few pharmacists are really nice.

Normally I have had a decent experience here. I do my grocery shopping, I check out, and I go home. But on March 2nd I had a bad experience. I was shopping as normal and I went to self-checkout to pay for my items as usual (what thief would bother scanning items at self-checkout). And then as I'm putting my items back in the basket because I'm assuming the employee is trying to do something with the self-checkout machines, the employee tells me that I need to re-scan my items. I was very confused. I looked at the checkout machine and didn't see anything abnormal, so I just thought "weird but okay" and tried to walk out to my bicycle with the basket with my groceries so I can put them in the panniers. And then the employee stops me again by saying "Hey Buddy did you pay for those?" So I pulled out my phone and showed him my receipt. The thing is, if the employee paid attention in the first place it would have been obvious that I already paid for them considering that I used my credit card to pay for them. Telling me I need to re-scan items when I don't and treating me like a possible thief doesn't make me happy. I understand that CVS in general as a company has had problems with theft and stores closing, but if that's the case, then employees should be paying attention. This isn't the first time I've been treated as a possible thief at a CVS store, although that one was in DC. At this point, I'm considering whether I should be going to Safeway on Darnestown Road, either by bike or bus, because I've never been treated like this at Safeway. My e-bike cost $4000 including all the add-ons and I paid it in full. My helmet cost $150. $50 is pocket change in comparison so what motive would I have for stealing groceries? I have a credit score of 819 on Experian. However, what I don't want to do is spend extra money, like for groceries I've already paid for. For example, once I saw an unknown $68.06 charge on my bank account so I called Capital One and the investigation concluded that it should not have been charged to my account.I should note the transaction for the groceries I bought at CVS occurred on 03/02/2023 at 5:53 PM, for reference.

I have never had issues with CVS pharmacy until I visited this pharmacy in Poolesville. On January 28th I stopped in the drive through to ask if I could transfer my prescription from darnestown rd to this poolesville location (mind you it was already filled and waiting there, I was just low on gas and this CVS was the closest). They told me "of course! We will have it ready in about an hour". Thirty minutes roll around and I get a message saying my prescription will not be covered by my insurance. This was a shock due to me being on this same medication for almost a year and I had no issues before. I called in to see if it was a mistake and the male pharmacist told me it was probably because it was a new year my policy had probably changed. Again, not something insurance does until insurance renewal if its ever going to happen. I tried calling insurance, and unfortunately they were closed and I couldn't get an answer until the next day. My insurance informed me, they do still cover the medication but I needed a new prescription. They also let me know that this is something the pharmacist would have seen when they tried to process the script. I called the pharmacist back and they let me know they were going to send a fax to my doctor requesting for a new refill. I myself also called my doctor to reiterate I was not doing well without the medication and needed it to be filled as soon as they could. This being a benign medication, not a controlled substance but something I needed direly. To make a long story short, its now February 11th and they are finally filling my medication. In that time I had also been told by them that my medication was somehow filled in Montgomery Village, it was not. Also that they still hadn't gotten a renewal from my doctor. I had to push hard to get ahold of my doctor today, but come to find out my doctor sent a prescription renewal on February 1st.I am extremely upset with my experience here and I would recommend people use any other pharmacy in the area if at all possible!!

Normally there are no issues at CVS. But today, I was picking up a prescription through the drive-thru and put the money in the drawer and held it down until the drawer was pulled back in. It was windy and I didn't want it to fly away.I let go as it was pulled back in and then was told I still owe money, even though the $20 would have covered it. I was the told the pharmacist never saw money in there and demanded another $20 for the prescription. I'm not going to start pointing fingers, but my money didnt magically disappear. I'm really disappointed.

Excellent store experience! Not only is the Pharmacy department always so nice but the front staff is great as well. A nice gentleman, likely a manager, helped me with issues I had with my ExtraCare card. He took the time to look it up and helped resolve the issue I was having with coupons. I was so impressed. A great go-to in downtown Poolesville!

I have no complaint about the store itself. My issue is with the corporate level who have limited the hours for pharmacy employees. This CVS is now allowed to only have two employees on duty at any given time. I recently had a prescription that took four days tO fill. In addition I have made three phone calls to the corporate level to discuss this issue and have been promised that someone would call me back "in two business days". I have yet to receive a call. The corporation must be run by ten year olds. They have the most ridiculous poLicies in retail and seem to want piss off customers.

My experience with the pharmacy at CVS-Poolesville continues to be excellent. The pharmacists and their staff are top notch professionals that are always easy to work with. I highly recommend this CVS pharmacy.

Service at the pharmacy is slipping. Prescriptions not ready at time promised. Lack of communication if there is a problem. I suspect they have also blamed the doctor unfairly. Maybe they just need more staff. Only game in town though.

Staff is very friendly but not a single month goes by that they do not have my meds ready on schedule. They wait til the day its supposed to be filled to order if they are out causing me to run out of my meds. I've called corporate and they can't do anything bc their system does not allow for manual input for ordering. This has caused a very bad situation for me several times. Withdrawal from some of my prescriptions is very dangerous and can be fatal. It's a shame this is the only pharmacy in the vicinity. If I was able to drive I would go elsewhere. I would give it one star but the staff are really nice and help as much as they can.
