“Had a emergency with my dog in OBX. Called multiple places they either weren’t open or wouldn’t take walk in’s. Decided to head home -North. As i was driving home i searched for vets in the area of my drive and found Layfield just 5 minutes from me. I called asked if they would take a walk in and they said yes. From the moment I walked in the staff were attentive and quick to service my pup. The doctor did an exam, xray and administered meds. The doctor was awesome, very caring and down to earth. I was able to drive the rest of the way assured My pup was going to be ok. Pocomoke is lucky to have a local vet like Dr Abell. Oh and the price for a walkin and the services I received were very reasonable. Thank you Dr Abell.”
