Needed a double sided key cut and they had a weak selection of them and didn't have the one I needed. Guy offered if I wanted to buy the key elsewhere and pay them to cut it I could, which would basically be buying the key twice. Customer service leaves lots to be desired. I noticed they treated the locals they knew with smiles and a great attitude. Found out we were from out of town and just shut down all friendliness. I have gotten better customer service from a self checkout!

I’m a big fan of Ace hardware stores and I’m very loyal to them. I avoid the big two because I like the mom and pop nature of an Ace. Usually they are very helpful and have better customer service. Not this one. Which is hilarious because they have maybe the worst location I’ve ever seen. So if this location isn’t going to win on customer service, they aren’t going to be around much longer. Head to Onley or Exmore.

I went into Ace of Eastern Shore Pocomoke to buy a Treager grill for Mother's Day. I looked on website and the grill is on sale. I go into store and that won't honor it unless I buy online?? So i go on line and buy the grill and check the box to have assembled when I pick up. Wait a full week to be called to pick up only for it to be still in the box. They would not assembly it because it was on sale??? Don't advertise free assembly if you can't honor it. Terrible experience with this Ace. Take the time and go to Chincoteague Ace.
Side note Grill is awesome.

It’s very tricky to get to … I’m sure gps has helped his business a lot … had what I needed Nice professional staff …beware they do close early or at least the day I was there -check hours first . Would Recommend .

Went to compare shop bbq's. Personnel were very helpful, but most importantly, they didn't shadow me while I shopped. When I had a question, it was answered, and they gave us our space again. Will return in the future.
