I just got off the phone with the pharmacist or pharmacy tech who wanted to deliver my mother’s prescription after 10p. I was well aware that we were expecting snow. However, I had to get some rest before I had to report for duty. The female on the other end was very unprofessional and had a serious attitude! I addressed her tone. At no time did she adjust her attitude. Sadly, it’s people like her that give us black women a bad reputation for having an attitude! That female who called me at 9:40p from the Pikesville location on 1/18/2024 was unapologetically rude!

Absolutely the best pharmacy I’ve ever had! The ladies are so willing to get you your medicine and they discuss the medicine with you and her actions. It’s just wonderful pharmacy.

Maybe if they were ever open they’d get a decent review. Not being able to get a very important medication because they are closed 2 DAYS In a row is absurd.

RUDE.....RUDE......RUDE....RUDE..... NOT THE FIRST TO SAY IT..... NEVER GOING HERE AGAIN..... RUDE RUDE RUDE AS IF THEY ARE THE ONLY OPTION.... RUUUUUDDDDDDDE... my review has nothing to do with the insurance process.... the people in this ofc cut me off everytime that I tried to talk.... when I tried to ask questions so that I can understand... I was talked to as if I was d******** no I just did not understand.... Please do not make this about the insurance process...... your location is rude and needs training on customer service.... So hopefully my review will help you accept fault and care about your customers... I tried to give your staff the PA number and was cut off each time.... saying... we don't take any PA numbers so I dont understand why you are trying to give that to me.... because thats what the doctors ofc instructed me to do.... but you didn't hear that because I kept getting cut off.... so again... not insurance but your staffing.... RUDE... insurance has nothing to do with how you treat people... and I am not the only one who says this location is rude.... people talk....

Always a pleasure getting my meds at this pharmacy. There staff are very friendly, informative, goes above and beyond to help no matter what the circumstances are, they even offered to stay open later so i could get my meds before they closed.

Not very helpful, didn’t attempt to look for prescription when called over the phoneUpdate: The reputable Walgreens pharmacy found and provided my prescription. Really can see the professionalism from this location with the response from an “owner”. Same attitude was presented over the phone. Maybe there are internal issues with such nasty representatives. Please go to real pharmacies to avoid this foolishness.

Very unprofessional rude gentleman at check in for covid shots, not wearing a mask and told me to go stand outside in the rain when there was only a few people there. Also turned away for being out of state after numerous people from our area had shots there and the state of MD health department made a statement of NOT turning people away. Not a nice person and certainly not concerned with the wellbeing of all people. Morning of 3/24/21UPDATE after reading the owners reply. Maryland guidelines did not exclude out of state residents, this is incorrect and a lie. At the time of our appointment the state of Maryland was on record as saying we won't turn anyone away. When we made the appointment one of your employees told us it was ok if we were from VA. It would look better on your part to just say i'm sorry and we made a mistake instead of lying. Why wasn't your employee wearing a mask when checking people in?

My husband and I got the COVID vaccine at Wellcare Pharmacy, the Pharmacist and all the staff were very NICE and professional. Well organized!! We recommend this place!!!

My wife and I dropped off a prescription for our four-year-old to Wellcare on Old Court Rd. We had never been to Wellcare, but our regular pharmacy was out of this particular medication.The next day, someone from Wellcare called us and told us that our insurance company refused to cover it. When my wife asked for clarification, what the insurance company said, etc, the pharmacist became irate and berated her.We called our insurance company to find out what was going on, because they have been covering this same prescription at another pharmacy for months. Our insurance company said of course they'll cover it. They just need prior authorization, so call your doc. We called our doc, they said no problem at all! Just have the pharmacist call them.When we called Wellcare back, they finally told us the truth. They told that of course insurance will cover it! It's just not profitable enough for us to fill it for you so we refuse to.When we told them that we had called quite literally every other pharmacy we could find in the area and Wellcare was the only one who had the medicine in stock, Wellcare still refused to fill it for us because it wasn't profitable enough.If Wellcare had told us the truth from the beginning, that they weren't going to fill our prescription because it wasn't profitable enough, that would have been a little problematic. The fact that they LIED to us and had us spending hours on a wild goose chase is beyond unacceptable.They could have easily gained a family of five as long-term customers (about a dozen prescriptions a month more or less), but instead they chose to blatantly lie, leaving us without medication for our child. Thankfully, another local independent pharmacy, Better Care, was able to order the medication on Friday, have it in stock on Monday, and have absolutely no problem running it through our insurance in minutes. Our insurer and pediatrician, when notified, were absolutely shocked by the lack of professionalism on the part of Wellcare.
