Here I am at the Walgreens Pharmacy in Pikeville Maryland to pickup a prescription at 1:45pm but the pharmacy is closed I guess for lunch. I worked at Neighborcare Pharmacy for 20 years and we never closed completely for lunch but we had staggered lunch breaks so customers always have access to someone for access to their prescriptions. That makes sense. Apparently Walgreens doesn't use common sense but should. If a customer needs pain medicine or anti-nausea medicine ? they have to suffer plus be inconvenienced because ("CORPORATE EGGHEADS ") at Walgreens apparently didn't use good protocol practice that Neighborcare Pharmacy had when Walgreens bought them out. Sometimes corporate takeovers SUCK, and this is an example.

If I could leave one star I would. Total incompetence at this location. I keep coming back because of the location and drive through. Never again. Do NOT use this location.

If you are diabetic, don't trust your life and medical needs with this pharmacy. The staff can't find your script, refuses to recognize your pre approved prescriptions, refuses to answer the phone and more.... Every transaction is filled with anxiety and frustration. No more... we are taking our business to a small family owned pharmacy with better service and a working phone number!

Nice staff in pharmacy. However, why don’t they answer the phones ever???? Like anytime of the day, the phone just repeats and wastes so much time it’s awful! I started going elsewhere.

Very personable employees, one pharmacist Jarrett in particular., he solved my problem without hesitation. I was extremely grateful because it was getting close to the end of my medication.

Not your staff accusing me of using fraudulent coupons because they allegedly looked fake. And then you don't know your managers name or know how to access the experience survey. Y'all wild. Last time I frequent there.

CVS is my primary Pharmcay but because ive used Walgreens for so long Ive stayed with them. Walgreens Pikesville is an embarrassment to Walgreens. They are extremely slow and horrible customer service. I observed one employee up front for 15 minutes on a personal cell phone and totally ignored customers. Their service is terribly slow and unprofessional. Avoid Walgreens Pikesville if you can. I am now changing to CVS Pharmacy. Thanks Walgreens Pikesville for making my decision easy!

Thank you so very much for your optimal service and expertise. I recently received the covid vaccine at this pharmacy and my experience has been very thorough and satisfying. Kind regards to Walgreens and the professional staff...

This is the worst Walgreens I have ever dealt with. Your call will not get answered because of the absolutely TERRIBLE customer service. Waited 7 hours for my wives prescriptions, called about 5 times being on hold for over 30 min each, I finally had enough and went in. I made sure I was still on hold to see what the wait is actually all about. I go in to see 4 people in line and I see the lady on her personal phone while the pharmacy phone is ringing off the hook. I notified the workers of how lazy they're being and they replied with "we've had a long line all day". All of the people in line looked at me and said they tried calling too. Maybe if you pick the phone up and answer it to help people with their questions, their wouldn't be a line out the door and any issues. If you truly don't care about your job, then get a new one. Nobody is forcing you to work at a pharmacy where you obviously don't care.

Worst Pharmacy in Pikesville history. Always out of my daughters vimpat, always have to order it, then it’s on back order and no one calls to inform her dad or I. You stay on hold for hours to talk to somebody they are so unapologetic it’s HORRIBLE. Have been using this pharmacy for about 10 years and have never had anything nice to say about the service. So after the last insistent IM CALLING IT QUITS!!!! Now using CVS for my families medication needs.

Stopped in to buy some gift cards. Went early on a Saturday morning and it was empty. Parking lot had plenty of empty spaces and when I went in I only saw one other customer. The store was clean and well lit inside. I just wanted to purchase a few gift cards but noticed that had coke and sprite on sale. The deal was too good to pass up so I grabbed three 12 packs. They were a little to bulky to carry around the store so I got a cart. I would pick the cart with a broken wheel but it got the job done. I went to the gift card display and they had a good selection of gift cards. I selected the ones I wanted and when to check out. The Cheshire was friendly and got me out quickly. After I loaded my items into my car the cashier came out and took the cart back in for me. I assume it was because the store was not busy but it was a nice gesture. My shopping g experience was pleasant. This store is conveniently located near my home so I would stop back again if need be.

I like it here is never had a problem here personally seems to be easy and they do the best they can but they definitely get me my medicine timely no issues whatsoever imho and they also call or auto call to assure you That your prescriptions are ready for pick up which I love and the app is very helpful they also have yet to make any mistake or give me a strange foreign generic so to me that’s a big plus and I have nothing but good things to say, staff seem busy and overwhelmed at times which is OK and very much normal but they keep the line is moving they follow safety protocols that’s good hours and are friendly during the pandemic they make it easy and quick too.. unless you come at lunch hours when they need a break snd lines her unruly. I am satisfied being a regular and using this pharmacy(speaking more so upon any Walgreens location in this area) esp since I have encountered awful pharmacy experiences As I’m sure we all have had in my past so when you find one that gets the job done and there’s no issues just stick with them let’s play seems to be consistent with my medicine:)

I would give Walgreens (Pikesville, MD) 3 stars but I have been on hold with the pharmacy for over 30 mins. I am still on hold for the pharmacy as I am typing this. I am very aware of the challenges that COVID-19 has presented and I would like to see Walgreens be a little more proactive in assisting their customer (more than one pharmacy tech on duty). I am person in my mid-30s and have the time to wait on hold, however, if this was the level of service my grandparents/senior citizens received, I would be completely outraged.I called from a different telephone line and spoke with the Store Manager. She was very polite and indicated that there are issues with their telephone systems. I am pleased that Justine was able to address my concerns.Walgreens, please do better. Your customers appreciate you and you should appreciate them.
