Now, I understand Dr. A's perspective and actions!!!! It was COVID... wow. I began going to this shop during Covid. I was a new client and I loved the lady's work who twisted my hair every time I went to the shop. Dr. A either didn't like me or I rubbed her the wrong way. She was very rude and nasty toward, me even though she had never seen my face due to masking. After reading these comments, for the first time, especially reading her responses has given me a new perspective on why I left. I wish her all the blessings!Services: Hairstyling

This was my first time here, and I will be returning. I went to get my hair done for a wedding in Atlanta, Georgia. My stylist name I pray I spelled her name correctly ..Shady. She did an awesome job. I told her what I wanted, and I've received loads of compliments. I do recommend and will be returning. Her price, I thought was reasonable.

The young lady that did my daughter's hair was very nice BUT...the salon needs a receptionist. The stylist was answering the door and phone while my daughter was sitting with partially blow dried hair. All the while Dr. A was sitting and doing absolutely nothing. I asked if she could stop pausing the service until my daughter was completely dry. She has hair that tangles very easily and I expressed that at the start of service. Of course the air drying caused extra tangles and she was in tears by the end of the service. I still tipped but we will not be back. The shampoo area is giving kitchen salon vibes and the carpet up the stairs is filthy. Not my ideal atmosphere but maybe okay for some. I'm very picky about where I sit and spend time and I was unable to get comfortable.Edit after salon response: I made no assumptions and commented on what I saw and experienced first-hand. I also was honest about everything and to imply that I wasn't is defamatory at best and a complete lie at worst. If my stylist was going to be the receptionist that day, I should've been told and I would've rescheduled or canceled. If Saige ever moves to different establishment I'd be glad to support her which is why I left a tip. Her assignment of receptionist is no fault of her own, but a direct reflection of management. Also, I received a call from the "receptionist" and there was no apology made or any address to my comments, just "thank you for your comment". I stand by my experience and indeed the law of reciprocity be also with you and your business. You be blessed as well!Service: Hairstyling

My first time experience was awesome, from the booking of my appointment I was treated with care. The atmosphere was welcoming, staff was very attentive to everyone not just their customers. The shampoo experience was refreshing, my stylist Emira was very nice, gentle and friendly. The products left my hair soft and refreshing. I think I found my new Loc home.Service: Dreadlocks

First let me start by saying that I have always been EXTREMELY picky about who touches my hair!!! I started my Micro Loc journey9-26-2022 with Dr. A..AKA Naturally Nadine, AKA, Twist Loc Love. I can honestly say that This Loc Salon is the best!!! First off.. Even while Mrs. Nadine had a client in her chair for my consultation for installing my Locs she took the time to pause and measure my natural hair to let me know the length and price for the Locs best for MY HAIR TEXTURE (Which is what I was watching for)?. It’s been Golden since then. Mrs. Nadine also gave me a number to text my pix to show my progress through my gentle washing with Amira who is also so amazing and very sweet and now I’m going to Mrs. Nadine for my first Re-tie. I know this may be a little bit long but it took me over a year to find a competent and educated Loctician to do my Locs, So if you ever make the decision to Loc this is definitely the Salon to go!!! And her spritzer is the best!!! Which is her own!!! I can definitely say that I have found my Micro-Loc home!!! I had a wonderful experience. My hair was handled with care. I explained that I had been sick for a couple of years and needed extra special care. I went in on a Saturday for a consultation and scheduled Thursday for my appointment. Dr. A did my consult and Crystal was my stylist. I am pleased and I will be going back soon.

Met with Dr A whom was very patient and helpful to me. Although I scheduled for one consultation she actually recommended coming back for something different. She provided me with very helpful info in the meantime. Would definitely recommend seeing her for a loc consult or just a hair/scalp consult.
