I made an appointment online to get the damage assessed on my new car and how much it would cost me to fix it. Due to some construction on the highway and poor planning on my part, I arrived 15 minutes late to my appointment and was completely open to rescheduling. However, the staff still took the time to look over my car damage and hear me out.
They have their prices per hour posted in the office, clear as day. As they assessed my car, they explained how the repairs would have to be done and what sort of work that would involve. They were VERY transparent about their prices, and even made a suggestion to me that, though not as pretty, using touch up paint on the roof would save me a lot of money because they would have to remove the windshields to repaint the roof, and the damage on the roof is only shallow scratches to begin with. After seeing friends deal with overspray or poor craftsmanship at other shops, the attention to detail and making sure the paint/clear coat would have adequate coverage is appreciated. They also mentioned that all of their work comes with a warranty!
Unfortunately, since I had just made a large down payment on this car, I didn't have the funds to get it fixed right away, but having seen their assessment process, as well as receiving a print out of the itemized quote, I am pleased with Slade Auto Body & Paint, and hope to bring my business to them ASAP.
Also, I'm not sure where in the review to put this, but some shops closer to me had complaints about getting their car returned with no gas or several more miles on it. I am always a little worried about someone taking my car for a joyride. However, one of the first things Slade did was record my current milage, and they added it to my printout. They really respect your property.

Slade Auto Body & Paint was recommended to me and I am so glad that I chose them. Larry and his assistant Lola were professional, caring and helped me understand everything they were doing and, were very reasonable. I was able to get through my problems because they made it so easy for me. I know this sounds like a commercial, but when you have repair problems, Larry is the one to go to. My car looks great. Thank you so much Larry.

The staff at slade auto were extremely nice and very professional. Ms Lola was extremely courteous and allowed me to come after hours to pick up my car. They also were able to explain in detail how the charges were broken down. Definitely recommended.

We had a fairly small dent in the front of our SUV hood. Two other shops said they would have to remove the fenders to blend and match the paint, but they would also need to remove the grill, headlights and after the repair and repairing, bring in someone to recalibrate the sensors and cameras on my Hyundai. They proposed a price 4X what Slade Auto proposed. The result? Larry did a great job repairing the dent and matching the original paint. Lola took care of us, made sure the car was ready within the three days promised, and followed up a couple days later. Great job! Saved me a lot of money.

I did a Google search for auto body shops and Slade auto body was #1 in my area, so I took a chance and it was the best decision! Larry was so accommodating and worked to make me happy as his customer, even when the insurance company was challenging to work with. My car looks brand new and I am very, very happy!

Slade Auto Body is a very nice shop, with the space they have they work very efficiently and made sure my car was ready for the road. Lola and Larry both work hard to make sure their customers are listened to and comfortable throughout the experience.

Slade worked on my Mercedes E-Class, and I was impressed with their excellent customer service. The woman at the front desk was friendly and professional, helping me understand the necessary repairs. The quality of the work done was outstanding, and I'm very satisfied with the service. I will definitely return for any future needs.

I had some body work done on my VW in Sept ‘24. The work took longer than expected but Larry and Lola were very kind. Especially Lola!!!! When you have to earn your money, you want to spend it with a company who appreciates you as a consumer. They were genuinely concerned about me as a human being. I don’t want anything to happen to my car again, but if it does I know where I will take.
