Had a good experience here. Needed some lumber for my Deck rebuild that Home Depot and Lowe's did not have. Pikeville Lumber had the exact length and type I needed.

I have never been treated so rudely walking in before. I came for some lumber with my father and daughter. When we finally found an employee we were asked in a harsh tone why we did not come in through the front door. There were no signs, nor was it obvious as to which fully open garage doors we were to use. While trying to politely explain we didn't know he yelled at us about how "this was not the Home Depot". I asked if he wanted to sell us lumber and he (still in an upset tone) said they only sell to government entities. There are no signs and nothing on their website to indicate this. We decided to leave and he continued to yell our whole way out, the only thing I was saying was we are done talking. I did not want my daughter to hear an argument like that. If it is true they only sell to government entities there are ways to explain that politely, especially in front of a child. I had to explain why someone could be so rude for no reason the entire car ride home.
