“Had a class here using a gift certificate and it was great. Solo time on the wheel was perfect for a beginner and my pieces turned out way better than I expected. I am waiting for them to be glazed and fired.”

3715 Old Columbia Pike, Ellicott City“Clayground is a must do activity for everyone, young and old, budding artists, accomplished artists, or those who are feeling a little creative. We celebrated the activity part of my daughter's 13-year old birthday party - a pottery class - at Clayground. We reserved several pottery wheels. The young ladies loved it! They had a tremendous time creating, laughing, and being kids. The instructors are warm and welcoming. They are enthusiastic, patient and provide great tips. Did I mention they're patient?! There some adults also taking classes and enjoying themselves as much as the party. My wife and 23-year old are going to return to take a class. The parents who attended our party plan to return as well. Clayground is located in a memorable setting in picturesque Elicott City. Make a day of it, be artistic, do some shopping, grab a drink or dinner. A perfect day!”
“Love this place so much. They are very good at firing things in the right spot depending on the glaze. Amazing instructors and community events. Just a top notch place to do ceramics. So so impressed. This is rare cause I have been to other studios in other states and they are not nearly as good or thriving as much as Baltimore clayworks ?”
“A dream place, one of a kind, every piece, color, smell! It is a journey of fantasy and mysticism, and its owner is a great artist. If you want to give a Divine and special gift this is the place to get it.”
“Great place to take your family and paint some pottery. Plenty of colors and rotating inventory of stuff to paint. The new location is right across the street from the old one is nice and roomy.”
“Waiting for the start of a nasty-weather game at M&T Bank Stadium, we decided to explore the clock tower and art galleries. It was fun. The clock, which is over 100 y.o. with faces in four directions, is fascinating to see. The cost was $8 per person. There were only two artists (that we saw, at least) but they both took time to describe their work and techniques. Nice!”

“This gallery may look small from outside, but inside you’ll find a treasure trove of some of the best Baltimore-themed and Baltimore-rooted art in the City. Whether it’s beautiful depictions of the Domino Sugar plant, the Pagoda, quintessential row homes, and the harbor; or more unusual snapshots of Baltimore; or just a unique creation of a Baltimore artist, this gallery has hyper-local art that you’ll love.”
“This place is a gem. Terrie and her team are thoughtful, and very skilled. She takes great care to match the customer's needs with advice on color and style; she has a great eye. Terrie has framed many pieces for my family over the last 5+ years, and we keep going back. The workmanship is beautiful. Worth every penny!”
“Some really fabulous jewelry. The artwork is exceptional. This fantastic art guitar is absolutely fantastic. There are some wonderful art pieces in this store and all is very skillfully curated. It should be a must go to when visiting the Hampden neighborhood in Baltimore for some exceptional gifts. I have bought a stunning bottle stopper for a birthday gift..”

We talked for about 30 minutes or so and I really appreciated that. This will definitely be my go to place for any future wrapping or framing needs. And he's a big O's fan to boot! Thanks for taking the time to talk framing and baseball! What a great place!”

You know what you are getting and where it came from. I got a very small drawing and later bought two more. The owners are lovely people who actually travel the world to stock the shop.”
“Quaint local store filled with lovely jewelry and local art works. If you're looking for something special or unusual you'll want to stop by here. They also do framing. One of the few great framing places left in this part of the county.”
“I love to visit this gallery whenever we are in the area. The owner is so nice, and very welcoming. She has also gone out of her way to make sure my pictures arrive safely. The artists are very talented and I always find something I want to take home. Believe me, there are some very interesting pieces. The prices are also very reasonable for original artwork.”
“I visited Art With a Heart with my colleagues as part of our team holiday celebration. This was so much fun and staff, especially our organizer, was super friendly and helpful. I highly recommend a visit here with friends, family, children or coworkers. This is truly a wonderful place with a valuable mission to make art accessible and available to students and the community. ...and a plus is a view of all the beautiful and colorful pieces displayed in the venue...with some being available for purchase ?”
“Currently the proud owner of two stunning Justin Winkel paintings! They add so much depth and class to my home, and are great conversation starters when I have guests. “When I recently moved to Ellicott City from DC, I was nervous about not being able to find a place with the much needed energy to purchase my crystals and sage... until I found Tiffany! I absolutely loved her old spot and am even more in love with her new shop towards the top of OEC's hill across from Gg's Cafe. She is an amazing store owner and has so much spiritual knowledge and all the good vibes. I always walk away with such elevated energy after our short chats and much needed vibes.”
