“I love this store. Granted, it's on the small side, and yes, they often don't have much stock... But they are super nice, it's clean, and the employees are all both willing to help and helpful. Which, sadly, in this day and age, isn't exactly common in a supermarket. And they are also very competitively priced, and give you "in store" prices even if you don't have time to swing by and order by instacart.”

“For the produce section the prices are reasonable and I have never been disappointed with the produce itself. Cash or check only.
They also have local honey, baked goods and preserves as well as lots of plants.

For the BBQ stand, it is incredible. I am not a huge fan of meat in general, but their BBQ is so good it's upsetting. I don't even use sauce with it. Also cash only and only open on Saturdays at this time.
One thing of note is to just be a little vigilant when entering and exiting the parking lot. I've pretty consistently experienced people who are in a big hurry to "beat you to the BBQ", or just aren't paying attention, as well as cars trying to turn in from off the highway and getting backed up because of people trying to park or back out.”

“Love Benjamin's and normally love their subs /sandwiches but ordered (2) sandwiches yesterday (Sunday) for me and hubby and each sandwich had (2) slices of meat and 1 slice cheese . Very disappointed”

DAFB commissary serves a fairly large active and retired military community in both Delaware and nearby areas of Maryland, so it is generally well stocked. My one major complaint has to do with the produce section which is probably one of the poorest I have ever seen both in selection and quality. Even though places like Sam's Club, Walmart, Aldi, or Food Lion offer a wider variety and fairly competitive pricing on many products the savings on things like meat and cereals cannot be beat. The store is always spotlessly clean and everyone from the shelf stockers to the cashiers to the baggers is friendly, helpful and polite. All in all, for a small to medium commissary it's good; just need to work on that produce section!”

Everything was absolutely delicious! I cut off skin and the red from filets. Cooked low in butter and OMG was delicious. Per owners recommendation I went with ? Oysters and they were fat and juicy and delicious. Can't wait to try something new next! Price was awesome considering quality!!!”

“Fantastic new store bringing what is becoming a popular shopping from Germany to the US. The bakery is the plus so far in the initial visit. Bringing popular European style breads is very welcomed.

Produce was all fresh and reasonably priced and well stocked.

However on the initial review of German/European products available from this German brand store was underwhelming. Just through brand awareness it was thought to be one of the highlights. I particularly hoped in the opening weeks for a higher quantity of products even as specials to draw traffic and attention. I hope this is temporary issue and that 'themed' weeks like the competitors will bring more selection in the future.”

“Ordered from the delivery today 9/4/23. Went a picked up order. Paid 67 dollars for said food. Came home and was given the wrong order. I immediately called the deli manager hung up on me. I drove the wrong part of the order back. Which I was told I gave them the wrong order number. I gave her the food and at that time was told she was not preparing the correct food for us and we would have to deal with Mike the owner so no dinner for have of our family.9/5/23 Updated review.This morning I went into Craigtown Market to speak with Mike the owner to resolve the issue from last night. Mike was respectful and we were able to talk to each other with respect. I was given a refund for the items I didn't receive and left feeling grateful that the manager and I were able to speak to each other and resolve the issue and still having me want to do business with the store still. I recommen if you have an issue speak with Mike the owner and he will make things right. We are all just human and mistakes are made but this business will make it right when something does go wrong.”

“I love shopping at Food Lion! One of my favorite things is their small carts, they are perfect for when you just need to grab a few things. The produce section is outstanding! Their fruits and vegetables are consistently fresher and better quality than what I’ve found at other big-name stores in the area.

Prices are pretty balanced too. Some items may cost a bit more, but others are actually cheaper. I did a comparison with 35 identical items from Walmart, and the total at Food Lion was only $2.30 more — absolutely worth it for the better quality and experience.

The staff is always friendly and helpful. My little niece is a total social butterfly, and the employees are always so sweet and engaging with her. It really makes our shopping trips enjoyable. Highly recommend Food Lion!”

I love little Sam and his brothers (Sam’s the hottest out of all of them #weloveourshortkings), their customer service is out of this universe, always giving back to the needy (Basically me & my family) and always making someone laugh. In this community there is a lot of Hoodlums; and our short king always give to them. Now he may be a little, but his heart is big. We love the store and you should go there too, but don’t rob them because like I said Sam is really short and chubby, so if you try to steal from him, he’d probably fall and break something and then you’ll be in prison. “First thing walking in, my ears were immediately greeted by soft textural tones with a jazz infusion. The evening shift seemed to enjoy their jobs, and that was reflective in the interesting music choices they had playing(unlike the normal dredge commonly over-played by local radio stations). Everything was affordable and easy to find, and a kind employee had purchased toys to pass out to children visiting the store. Friendly atmosphere that makes the atypical nightmare of running out to grab essentials in the evening much more barable.”

“Just had a remodel done on the 7th of July. First remodel since the store opened in 1985!!! I have to say they did a great job utilizing the space provided. The staff are very friendly, attentive, and hardworking. The store is well stocked, clean, and the merchandise is easily accessible. By far one of the cheapest retail stores in the area. I recommend stopping in for quick shopping trips or you can also browse more due to the utilization of the space. All and all I'm impressed with this store in particular and will be a frequent shopper there from now on.”

“I enjoyed this Martin's. It's very clean, with large aisles. Prices are high, but that seems to be everywhere now. The only issue I had, there's not many handicapped parking spots. Several patrons with handicapped parking were using the grocery pickup spots. They really shouldn't have to do that.”

“As someone new to Aberdeen with little knowledge of African food, I was shy coming in. Everyone was welcoming, kind, and friendly. They helped me so much and were very warm and sweet. “I've been going here for years now, they always have what I need and the staff are very helpful. The store is layed out in a way that is easy to understand and find what you need. The shelves are almost always stocked and although the line can get a little long sometimes it doesn't take long to get through it.”

MANY OF THE MOST POPULAR ITEMS IN DRINK SECTION WERE VERY LOW W PRODUCTS ALONG W SOME FOOD ITEMS AND THE STORE JUST WAS SO DISORGANIZED, ILL PROBABLY NEVER STOP ON A MON HERE, THE DOLLAR GENERAL BY ME IVE NEVER HAD THIS PROBLEM WITH NOT BEING ABLE TO EASILY ENTER THE FRONT OF STORE. IT WAS A STORE EMPLOYEE WHO TOLD ME AT THE REGISTER THAT CORPORATE MAKES DELIVERIES COME IN FRONT BY ALL THESE CAMERAS TO THE FRONT N EACH SIDE SHE SAID. I MADE A REMARK WHEN ENTERING REGARDING NOT BEING ABLE TO EASILY GET AROUND TO WHERE I COULD PUSH THE CART.”
