I was mailing something to the Maryland Maryland Comptroller's office, and she quickly noticed that the Zip Code typed on the envelope was incorrect. She noted the mistake to me and allowed me to update the Zip code on the envelope and also on the Certified Mail Receipt. I left the post office shocked that someone could be as attentive as her and willing to help others. She is a role model for dedicated employees and an asset to that Post Office Location.I hope this message is shared among her coworker so she can get the recognition she deserves and others can see how a postal service worker could positively affect someone's life.”

“As a regular customer who visits the Abingdon Post Office several times a week, I felt compelled to write this review about an outstanding experience I had today.

I had made an accidental error on a package label (mistyping a character) and urgently needed assistance to correct it before processing. I called immediately and was connected with Supervisor Ms. Olivia.

From the moment she answered, I was impressed by her excellent customer service. Ms. Olivia was incredibly attentive, kind, and professional. She quickly and calmly transitioned into problem-solving mode, asking for the specific details of the package, including the approximate drop-off time (11:00 AM).

She went above and beyond by promptly locating the package, confirming it was the correct item, and making the requested change. Ms. Olivia demonstrated a perfect blend of efficiency, professionalism, and genuine care. This is exactly how customers should be treated: with a great listening ear and a clear understanding of what it takes to resolve an issue quickly.

On a separate but equally positive note, I also want to give kudos to Patricia the clerk, who was amazing and friendly during my initial transaction with another clerk. ?”

“I love this post office. Very helpful, full of local charm. My closest post is Aberdeen - to the other poster who said this branch sucks, go visit the Aberdeen branch. You'll run back to Churchville.i go out of my way to come here.”

“Staff is very friendly. I’ve had limited interaction with them, but from what I’ve seen and heard they are willing to go above and beyond for their customers. My only slight issue is certain transactions need a supervisor to be present, and she is not there later in the afternoon. Even the employee was surprised by this, so I’m sure I’m not the only customer who has wasted a trip. But that’s a main office issue and not the fault of the Perryville employees.”

“I ship multiple items a month at this post office and have never had a problem with the service. My guess is that most of the bad reviews come from the actual local delivery.

The staff inside here though are always alright, the clerk (Lamar is his name, I think) is always friendly.”

“I wanted to extend a highly positive review to this office & the kind employee, Pricilla, who works there. She went above & beyond to help me locate, retrieve & deliver a package to an address yesterday.I understand how understaffed & overwhelmed the post office is normally & 10x more during the holiday mail flow - I live many states away & contacted this post office yesterday due to a mishap in transit. After providing the address and tracking, this very kind lady, Pricilla [and whomever the nice mail carrier/s were that day] were able to hunt down the mystery mail for me & later contact me to let me know the issue was resolved. ..In a time where customer service is lackluster, people are quick to be rude & most help is an automated computer system, its important to give credit where its due to good people that are doing a wonderful job.
