I was very disappointed in the selection and experience at this place. I had a prescription for a wig while undergoing chemo so my insurance would pay for it. The nurse I had at the infusion center recommended Charlotte's. The salesperson asked for photos so she could try to match my hair. When I got there, she had a wig picked out. I didn't like it at all, asked for more choices, but was not shown any others. She to me to go to my hairdresser to touch it up for me. Even though the hairdresser, who had lots of experience with wigs, tried to fix it, since it was a synthetic wig, it turned out much worse. I was devastated for such an expensive wig to be so ugly before and after. Though my insurance paid for the wig, I had to pay out of pocket to go to another wig place to replace this one.My friend had a very similar experience the week after me. I will not return and shared my story with the nurses at the clinic as well.

Needed a wig and they were so helpful. Must have tried on a dozen to find the one that was just right. The sales woman was so nice and fit us in despite not having an appointment.

Very thin hair because of treatment. Found out wig’s don’t work for me. But they had a topper that matched my hair color perfectly. Showed me how to care for it, styled it for me and I am very happy. Not cheap but I am worth it. Would recommend these ladies to everybody.

Holly was very kind, patient, and knowledgeable about the products. She provided us with very good customer service for which I am extremely grateful!

Highly recommend Holly was incredibly, she went above and beyond to help my mom find the wig that made her comfortable during these difficult times. She respects her clients and provides individual appointments, she doesn't rush you and she's extremely friendly. To us it was a blessing to be recommend to Charlotte's Hair Line.

I will say that they do have the nicest selection of wigs around. I went here SOLELY to look for a wig. I gave my insurance information so that they could verify how much of the wig would be covered. I returned to try on an ordered wig, to be told that other information regarding my assumed course of care had also been obtained. It was never asked for nor requested by me. What some clients perceive as compassion to others is an invasion of privacy and overstepping boundaries. Having worked retail for many years i was always told ..."never let a customer leave angry or upset". Unfortunately i did and am still extremely disappointed that the employee did not seem to understand that each client is different and each situation should be handled based on the needs and wants of that client.

Very compassionate, not judgemental, very private, and excellent selection. Just good hearted people that actually care.

I went in to purchase a new bra for my prosthesis and did not have an appointment. I did not realize that I needed one and they would not wait on me. I was the ONLY one in the shop! The receptionist was trying to help me when the insurance lady came out and made me feel so uncomfortable because she was arguing with the receptionist the whole time. This is not the first time I have been in there and the insurance lady spoke to the receptionist like that. It is so awkward! The insurance lady twice now has told me that she would check into how much a new bra would be and again, she NEVER got back to me. I am done with this place. I will find a better place to purchase my mastectomy items.

Absolutely the best!!! I searched and searched for just the right wig and had no luck. Charlotte's worked with me and found the most perfect wig ever! No one has yet realized that it's a wig and not my hair. Charlotte's goes the extra mile and is so empathetic and understanding. I highly recommend them to anyone who needs a wig for whatever reason. You'll be glad you did.

The woman who owns this shop is extremely insensitive and unaware of her customers' needs. My mother is going through chemo and has been very nervous about losing her hair. The woman who assisted us scolded her for waiting until now to buy a wig, and teased her repeatedly about being scared to have to wear a wig. My mom expressed a preference for long hair but the owner continually made her try on short hair wigs and told her a longer wig would not be suitable for the summer. She did nothing to make my mom feel comfortable or more at ease during this emotional process. At the end of our visit, the owner remarked how insurance companies tend to "jew her out of money". She was completely unprofessional and rude. I would urge others to take their business elsewhere.

Charlotte's Hair Line Inc in whitemarsh has the worst customer service that I have ever experienced!!!! I went there with my sister who has been recently diagnosed with breast cancer. She would be starting her chemo soon and we were really hoping to get some questions answered and help with getting a wig that would make her feel comfortable. We had an appointment at 10am and waited until 10:45 before we were seen. Then once we were back in the room we had a lady who had a very strong accent and no patience. We told her what style of wigs we were looking for and she continued to pull out wigs that did not meet our criteria. I started to go through the store myself and pull wigs for my sister to try on. When we asked questions about the wigs she was rude and seemed frustrated when answering our questions. After trying on over a dozen wigs we asked the lady if the wig my sister had on could be darker in color. The lady said " This color is close enough" and that we were not going to get exactly what we were looking for. Near the end my sister found a wig that she kinda liked. She asked them to hold the wig for her while she thought it over. After a week or so had passed my sister went back again to hopefully get some help from a different associate. Well if you thought it was going to get better there it doesn't. This lady ( different than the first lady) told her that she couldn't try on anymore wigs because they were all the same ones that were there before and that she had a little head. My sister did try and ask again but was denied a second time. She then left my sister in a room to take an important phone call which lasted for more than a few minutes. My sister then decided to not purchase a wig from that company and left. This blows my mind that a company who bases their business on working with cancer patients had little to no sympathy, and or patients. We felt rushed, not important and disappointed because we were told that we had to make do. I do not recommend this company to anyone in need of any wig services!!!! Please pass this along/share and avoid someone you care about the time and disappointment.
