Jim Cesare Owner of Ventnor charged me $6000.00 to repair Yamaha 225 outboard engineTwo lower units, two fuel pumps, countless hours of diagnostic fees and TWO BATTERIES later he on paper guaranteed the boat was safe and serviceable . As the Yamaha exhibited all the same conditions,Battery #2 was reading minus volts.Myself and Joseph WENT to Ventnor marina, had one battery replaced and purchased fuel. 6 SIX times I asked his Stoned tech to check his work. He nodded. I departed his dockand within 1000 yards my boat was fully engulfed in FIRE. 116 AA County firefighters, Police, DEA, Two Fireboats waited offshore. His techsCame to the site. One Tech shoutedhe could "Watch as Joseph, myself and my boat Burnded and Sunk"as I SCREAMED please help. They did not bring a Fire Extinguisher. Most of this was captured on Audio and Video, currently Jim will not answer my calls. Joseph D. and Ihave testified to AA County Police, and await results.

One of the worse customer service by the owner. I brought my boat in for bottom paint and they damaged the boat name sticker and the owner automatic blame the sticker instead of owing up to their fault. He asked if I had a picture of before I bought the boat in(if u had to do that then I would never bring my boat for them to do work) My thoughts are if they want to denied then they will find anyway to weasel their way out. So DO NOT trust this Marina for service!

Ventnor is the finest full service Marinaon the Chesapeake Bay. That's strong, I know. I've been active in Yachting since 1966. I plan to bring in my Proline for service. Come with me.

In an region where it is difficult to even get a call back from Marina's and marina services, Jim at Ventnor is the exact opposite. He is quick to respond, knowledgeable and very accomodating. I look forward to doing business with them in the years to come.

Met friends who have their boat there. Facility is nice and very clean. Not having a boat myself it's hard to make any other comments.

First time boat owner and first boating season with a wet slip at Ventnor. Jim, Lloyd and staff are extremely friendly. Jim and Lloyd have been extremely helpful with any issues I had with my boat. Lloyd has always been more than willing to stop what he was doing to help me. Slip fees to service repairs, prices are very fair and reasonable. Very happy with my first year with them.Scott A.

Jim and Lloyd are great! We bought a 2000 Bayliner 2855 and they have really taken care of us and stood behind the product. We got a new outdrive it has a one-year warranty and it needed some repairs. They went above and beyond in helping us out even with a tow back to Ventnor for repairs!! Boat is running great thanks to the crew!!!

I arrived at the Marina at 5:30 a m. Little do I know how awesome this morning would be. We headed out into the Chesapeake Bay just off Lake Shore Maryland. Our vessel was The Miss Susie III of Miss Susie charters. By 7:30 we had hooked a dozen of the largest rock fish (striped bass) you could ever ask for. Sorry I can't tell you that exact location. We then cruised out to just before the Chesapeake Bay Bridge where we dropped our rigs down to the bottom and pulled in spots and perch left and right for over 2 hours straight. It just doesn't get any better than that.
