I called the technician for a repair on my Samsung 55" TV. He claimed he didn't have the chip needed and would have to take the TV to his shop. He called later with an offer of a replacement TV for $295. I didn't want to miss the football games so I said OK. The replacement TV had a terrible picture and could not access YouTube ( he didn't know what that was ). I called the next day asking for my old TV back. I was informed that they had thrown it away along with the swivel stand. I explained they had no authorization to do that. The technician agreed to come back Sunday when my son was here. After much discussion he agreed to take back the replacement TV and refund the $295. He didn't want to do anything about the old TV ( " It was broken and couldn't be fixed " ). Then, I wanted it returned or paid for. He said "no" so I said it would mean small claims court. He offered $50. I wanted more. We finally settled on $75. What do you suspect happened to my TV ?
