Came here on Black Friday with a one year old and it was so chaotic I grabbed the wrong shade of the Kylie skin tint (40% off) while grabbing other gifts and Steven was running around being so pleasant and helpful and helped me multiple times. Came back yesterday to exchange the shade and I saw that he was there and I went over to him and he asked if I needed help and I said yes please! He helped me color match the perfect shade and I went up to the register to pay and there was an issue since I purchased it on sale. The girl ringing me up called for a manager and that's when I realized Steven was the manager! He of course helped me out and just an overall amazing experience. Thanks Steven, you're amazing!

Had a color correction last week spent 5 hours there I paid 500$ my hair looked good when I walked out after one wash my hair is so brassy it looks so disgusting better than what it did but for 500$ why is it so brassy already?

I’m standing up by the register to get waited on so we can pay for all the stuff we have and not one person wants to wait on us , they are just standing around. After about 10 minutes I told my Wife and Daughter let’s go, I guess they didn’t need our money !!!

WORST customer service experience ! I spent over $350.00 and had a screaming baby with me so I didnt realize that they didnt apply my points to the order. I brought my receipt two days later and asked them to do a refund and rebill - they not only made me go home to get the product, but it all had to be in the original package - the manager was pretty condesending about all of this:(

This has to be one of the worst Ulta locations I’ve ever visited. Every time I go in, there are at least four or five employees standing around, and the store is never busy—but no one seems willing to help.
I went in last week and counted five employees: two at the register (with no customers), and three on the floor. When I asked for assistance, one associate asked the two MAC employees if they could help me. They responded, “Only if she’s buying MAC products.” 😟
Reluctantly, the first associate offered to help. I told her the two brands I wanted to try, and she went to get them. After about 15 minutes of waiting, I found her back behind the register! When I asked what happened, she said she had to wait for someone else to come over. Meanwhile, the person she was originally at the register with just walked away, knowing the other employee was already helping me.
At that point, I just walked out. This store needs better management and employees who are both knowledgeable and genuinely willing to assist customers—especially when it comes to products for all skin tones.

Had an appointment at the brow bar and didn’t like it for a couple of reasons. One, the appointment is booked for 30min, the person took 10min. I’ve had my brows done in the past by benefit browbar and I appreciated the time and perfection they took and was expecting the same here. Sadly the person did not fill in my brows after outlining, didn’t show me before waxing if I liked it or not. She wasn’t friendly, just small chat about her plans for the weekend . To top it off, the next day I had an allergic reaction, so who knows if the wax was old or doubled dipped. Won’t be coming back here .

Inconsistent hours. Why are they open until 8 some nights but until 9 all the others, except this week there’s a sign that says closing at 6 pm. Most times you have to beg for help at this location as the staff is too busy talking to each other.

Wandered about the store for a bit, was never offered assistance. Went up to check out, one of the employees was wrapping up her cash register shift (I had no idea) and just stared at me when I approached since was my turn.

terrible customer service, walked past an associate that did not offer any helped had to walk all the way to the register to ask about a product that shows in stock and the cashier just told me to go look in the back.

I’m incredibly disappointed with the experience we had at Ulta. We booked an appointment for my daughter’s prom hairstyle and brought in a clear photo of exactly what she wanted. Unfortunately, what she ended up with looked nothing like the picture — not even close.
The stylist either didn’t have the skill or didn’t take the time to listen to what we asked for. There was little to no communication during the process, and by the time it was finished, there wasn’t enough time to go elsewhere or fix it ourselves. My daughter was heartbroken, and this was supposed to be a special moment for her.
We spent a lot of money expecting professional service and left feeling completely let down. I would not recommend their salon services, especially for important events like prom.

Bad experience today. Recently went into the store to buy a product, they didn't have it in stock so they ordered and had it shipped to me, fine. Went today do an even exchange, they didn't have the items in stock again, they were willing to exchange and order again but they wanted me to pay additional money, I explained I wasn't paying anything extra, I paid full price already. They weren't happy when I told them to refund my money and wasn't paying. I am so frustrated with Ulta. Customer service is not any better.
