My son has been attending Goddard Pasadena since he was 2, and he has grown academically and socially. The teachers and office staff are friendly and nurturing, and there is always open communication.

The Goddard School of Pasadena was an absolutely wonderful school for our child. The teachers were so caring, the environment was fun, I loved the pictures sent throughout the day, open communication about the progress of our child. I'd recommend this school to anyone looking for childcare.

Amazing teaching staff. Amazing support staff. I've never felt so confident for having someone take care of my child and shepherd their educational journey.

When we left this school we were provided a binder based on observations and development that documented that for months on end staff in the same room as the main character from Lion King noticed our child upset at drop off and chose to do nothing. They also lied about a milestone being reached so they could stop documenting it. I noticed the teachers seemed cold at drop iff and found it worrying that the red haired teacher in particular showed 0 expression to my and other children being upset but didn't know until then they knowingly chose to emotionally neglect my child. Honestly, the teachers were pretty verbally aggressive with multiple kids as soon as their parents were gone.Once we politely asked them multiple times to stop giving our child choking hazards. The staff stopped appeared to see it as a reason to treat my child differently. They also placed her sleeping cot directly outside a bathroom. I've never seen any other school do this. When I asked why this was the main teacher rolled her eyes and complainined about how nice they were to us. She felt we should be grateful. Mind you this school is one of the most expensive in this metro area yet staff treat childcare like a favor they're doing for you. Beware the charm of Sandra the director. If your tour feels off in any way, that's because it is. She blamed me for her staff's behavior and never once apologized for my child's lack of care. We did get a refund. My child now goes to a school that's half the price with the exact same curriculum and doesn't have to sleep near a toilet. Her new school also doesn't give her daily candy without our knowledge. I only wish I'd noticed earlier the contempt they had for my kids because I'd have taken an entirely different route then just this review.

Our son has been at Goddard for two years. His development was behind when he arrived and is excellent as he departs. We have nothing but positive things to say about Goddard Pasadena.

We’ve been attending for 4 years w/ 3 daughters. We love this school. Everyone is cheerful and helpful. Leadership holds high standards. Very professional. Kids are very ready for elementary. I must add, they made potty trainning so easy!

We just left The Goddard School in Pasadena after a year due to moving out of state. The whole crew was amazing and I wish I could transport them all to our new location! Our son worked his way through the two infant rooms into toddlers. Transitions to new rooms were always done thoughtfully, carefully and when he was ready. The staff worked hard to individualize his daily program and help him work on the developmental milestones he needed. All of the staff we encountered were helpful, friendly and caring. Many of the teachers knew my son by name even though he wasn't in their class. The front office staff is great and always cheerful, even at 6:30am! The teachers in his classrooms felt like family as it was clear they cared about my son. They were so helpful in getting him to eat solid food, getting his nap schedules down, and building his social skills, among other things. I would strongly recommend The Goddard School in Pasadena to anyone in the area as we will most definitely miss them at our new home!!

Sandra, the owner of Goddard School in Pasadena is a wonderful human being. She is someone who you can look at and tell she truly, genuinely cares about the children under her care and her staff. At least 98% of the time I picked up my daughter, Sandra was on site at the facility and would greet me with a smiling face and say hello to our daughter.Stephanie, the Director, is a sweetheart. She is so friendly and always made sure I was in the loop of Goddard School activities and events. She and Marley (Assist. Director) were very helpful when we enrolled in the school, assisting me with paperwork and getting everything set up, and welcoming my daughter and I to stop in prior to her start date to get acquainted. When my daughter missed school for a week due to illness, they called to check on her and see how she was feeling. Our daughter was only in the two infant rooms while at Goddard School in Pasadena, so I can only speak to the teachers in those classrooms, but based on them, I would imagine that all the teachers throughout the school are excellent. Ms. Jess and Ms. Amber in the Baby Bunnies classroom are fantastic. Their two different personalities work perfectly in the classroom together. Ms. Jess is very organized and has great, structured lesson plans for even the smallest babies. Ms. Amber is a very loving teacher. Their two different personalities work perfectly in the classroom together. My daughter felt so comfortable with her and would reach her arms out to go to her when my husband dropped her off each morning. Both infant teachers were flexible with my daughters ever-changing schedule and worked with her on the challenges of taking a bottle and sleeping in a crib, allowing for some flexibility in this so my daughter’s experience was a positive one. After a few months, my daughter transitioned into the next classroom with Ms. Amanda and Ms. Nicole. Both of these teachers are wonderful also. They got my daughter up and walking with assistance, fully transitioned her to crib sleeping and worked on eating solids at the table – all accomplished in just one month! Again, very creative lesson plans and art projects that were seasonally and age-appropriate. Ms. Jess S. was a floater and we got to see her in both of the rooms that my daughter was in. She is another fantastic teacher and just loves all of the students. She is very helpful and gave good feedback about my daughters day and always offered to change her into a clean diaper for our ride home.In both classrooms, I received lots of pictures of my daughter going about her daily routine throughout the day. This was helpful as I am a first-time Mom and returning to work was a bit intimidating knowing I would be leaving her with “strangers”. However, after just a few days, the staff at Goddard School in Pasadena felt more like family than strangers. Also, some of the pictures taken directly applied to the lesson plan for the week and the teacher tagged those pictures as such on the daily report. Other positives: my daughter never had a diaper rash from sitting in a diaper too long, and always came home in a clean outfit (never wet or covered in food). Also, when I would pick my daughter up, her used bottles/dishes/bibs/etc. would be all ready for me and waiting in her bag, so I did not have to spend a lot of time going around collecting our belongings each evening.Unfortunately, we left the Goddard School in Pasadena after 4 short months, because a spot we had been wait listed for in another Goddard facility that was closer to home opened up. (The Pasadena location was 20+ minutes from our house and not on the path of either one of my husband or my work commutes). It was a difficult decision that I battled with, but ultimately made the decision to enroll at the facility that is less than 2 miles from my residence.

My daughter has attended the Goddard in Pasadena for almost two years now and we are sad to leave due to moving to another county to be closer to family. It has been such an experience watching my daughter grow as an individual from her learning experiences that they have provided. We will miss her school and many thanks to all the time and effort the staff puts into the children.-The Mogavero Family

The Goddard School of Pasadena is an excellent facility. The administration and staff are so kind, understanding and knowledgeable. I have been sending my oldest daughter to this school since she was 18 month old. She excelled in social skills, she can count in two languages. She can write her letters and she is not even 4 years old yet. The school is giving her excellent education and its is a safe environment to send your child. This school has an amazing summer program, they do a lot of fun activities for the kids. Our family loves this school so much that we already send our 2 month old there.I highly recommend this school.

My daughter and I have been at The Goddard School of Pasadena for over two years and in that time I have witnessed the school growing into a wonderful community of families and faculty! The staff are committed to providing a fun, safe learning environment for the children and the families are so involved and supportive! The owners truly care about the children and staff and the program in general. They have invested so much into the program and the building itself. This is definitely an AMAZING place to be!! All of the staff treat my daughter as if she were part of a family and she loves being there! We couldn't be happier with The Goddard School of Pasadena!!!

My 9 month old has been at the Goddard school in Pasadena MD for 3 months now, and we all love it. His teachers are really fabulous - they are sweet, they know him, and they are active participants in his well-being. The support staff is sweet and capable. Overall we are very pleased with the care that our kiddo is receiving.
