There are a lot of spiders on the property. One of the exterminators made him self too comfortable in our home when he would come. Also idk if it was a race or age thing but the leasing office ladies were often condescending and very dismissive. Other than that, the maintenance crew was very professional and worked within a timely manner. Also it’s a cute, comfortable neighborhood with a lot of conveniences nearby…. If you can deal with all the spiders.

Was thinking about moving here but from the reviews I’ll pass unsafe and they find reasons to not give you back your security deposit wow!!! Painting the walls every 3 years is insane being charged for hanging pictures on the walls is even more insane command strips only can hold but so much weight this place sounds like an overpriced nightmare

First of all, I appreciate the peace, quiet and cleanliness provided by the Ashberry. I’ve lived here close to 6 years and I’m still pleasantly impressed by the attention paid to the details that make life here comfortable and enjoyable. It’s pest and critter (think rodent) free. The maintenance staff is fast and reliable.
Lastly but most importantly, I have to give kudos to the manager, Corrie. She is very responsive, extremely professional and always friendly.

My wife and I have lived at Ashberry Apartments for almost six years now, and it has been nothing short of fantastic. I understand that some people have issues with apartment complexes, but we’ve been fortunate to never experience any real problems.
The only minor issue we’ve ever had — and it was rare — was people not picking up after their dogs. But I bring that up only to highlight how quickly Ashberry responded. Within a week, they had installed pet waste stations throughout the community to address the problem. That kind of responsiveness speaks volumes.
Overall, it’s a very solid community. It feels homey, quiet, and is always well-maintained. I’ve heard horror stories from friends at other complexes, and every time I do, I think to myself, “I literally can’t imagine that happening here.”
The online payment portal is easy to use, and maintenance has always been top-notch. We’ve never had to wait more than a day or two for any issue to be resolved, and the maintenance staff are both skilled and friendly.
One day, we’ll move out to buy our first home — but if we ever needed to return to apartment living, Ashberry would be our first choice. I truly couldn’t recommend a better community.

Still wondering why they charged me $4000 for the month of July and I didn’t even live there. My lease was not renewed. I moved out when asked. That amount of money is practically four times the regular rent. They didn’t renew my lease. I moved out on June 31. They’ve charged me $4000 for July. Kept my security deposit. And rent was only $1732.00 per month. This is all very confusing.
Again, be very careful when renting from them. This is totally OUTRAGEOUS! Here are some photos and keep in mind. They asked me to move out I Moved out one specified. On June 31st!!

I had high hopes, but I'm completed disappointed with this place.
My girlfriend and her toy breed dog moved in several months ago. When we did the walk through tour, we noticed the grass was long and unkempt but figured it was just a fluke thing. Since she's moved in, we've realized that this is just the regular. It seems as if they've switched landscape companies and it's only gotten worse. Again, having a toy breed dog, the grass is taller than her on the regular. It's difficult to get her walk in such long grass and so she results to going potty on the sidewalks. Obviously we make every attempt to pick up the waste, but the pet waste stations are frequently left empty with no bags. We've also noticed that when we do force her to walk in the grass, either she or one of us, are guaranteed to have ticks on us every single time. This is no exaggeration... Every...Single...Time. Leaving the grass so unmanaged is causing a breeding ground for these ticks and we are constantly picking them up. One day I pulled 3 off of my legs alone. The pet area... Don't waste your time. They have huge holes under the gates that we've even seen large dogs get under them. There should be a concrete step there, a double gate or something. Then you factor in the broken glass all over the dog park, it's just not safe for any pet. They boast many other great amenities aswell. One of them is the tennis court. Well, there is no tennis net there, the gate to the court doesn't even close. It seems most people use it as an additional dog park though. Admittedly we have too because there is no broken glass there to injure our dog. The car wash station is nice, sort of. The vacuum doesn't work. Hasn't worked since moving in. I've waited in line to wash her car several times there and made light conversation with others. They mention in conversation that they live in the neighborhood across Jumpers Hole Rd. I guess maybe that neighborhood has a partnership deal to use the car wash station at the Ashberry. Speaking of Jumpers Hole Rd, that intersection is a disaster. We've seen so many people almost get hit there. There is a lane for turning into the community only and people use it to pass people constantly which almost results in accidents. We even witness a kid fall off of his bike dodging a car doing this. It's a shame that the trees on their property are blocking the right turn only signs. I feel it's a tremendous safety concern. In addition to those landscaping issues, while walking through the community you have wonderful surprise of used condoms (yes, plural) hanging from the bushes plus beer cans and alcohol bottles. Lastly their package lockers are a nice concept, but they have issues. The app doesn't work to gain access, but then again most delivery drivers just throw the packages on the floor where they end up stolen anyway.
In short, I think this place has potential, but it's not at all the level I'd expect for this price point.

We live here at the Ashberry apartments now for 17 years.
When we moved in June 1 2009 the Apartments were known as the Marley Run Apartments. The Ashberry apartments are really your home with peace and quite surrounded by surreal lush landscaping that is well maintained and groomed. With lots of mature trees, well lit, green spaces that includes a dog park, playgrounds for children and a pavilion with barbecue grills, tennis court, pickle ball, a beautiful pool with barbecue grills and patios perfect for entertaining or just family fun. There is a gym fully equipped with separate ladies and men's locker rooms that includes showers and restrooms. There is a secure package room, where you get a code when a package arrives for you and remains locked up until you put in the code. No porch pirates here. There is also a mail room that the postman places your mail, only you can retrieve it with the unique key. The Apartments are equipped with the latest top of the line GE monogram appliances including a dishwasher and your own large capacity washer and dryer. The kitchen has soft close drawers and cabinets. The floors have luxury wood look vinyl planking that looks and feels high quality. Google or Alexa can control your thermostat and your door locks if you so desire. The front door is keyless entry, you don't have to worry about losing your keys.
Management is headed up by Corrie, and Sherri the assistant manager. Not enough can be said about them and the team here at the Ashberry. They treat you like family and are very pleasant, responsive and friendly, respectful of your concerns and provide immediate solutions. Maintenance is headed up by manager Keith, and tow teammates. They correct problems and provide answers speedily. Very professional well trained in all area's of the complex and apartments. On call 24-7. They provide services so fast that it will put your concerns on ease.
It's not fair to the Ashberry apartments by calling them Apartments, because they are truly homes.
This is an oasis surrounded by great highways, good restaurants and lots of shopping.
I truly am blessed to live where it is safe, quite, peaceful and beautiful year round my home.

I lived here for a little over a year and my experience was okay. This apartment has poor insulation so in the winter time, you have to blast the heat 24/7 to feel somewhat warm. I tried to block out the cold through the spaces around the door and covering the windows, still cold. My electric bill was always high! Then my upstairs neighbors let their kids run around and stomp 24/7, my lights would shake because of this. Just a nuisance to live with. I was woken up at 2 or 3 in the morning because of this. You can also hear them yelling through the floors or moments of intercourse which is very uncomfortable. The bugs were also very annoying. I had hundreds of ants coming through the cracks in my bathroom by my tub. Other than this, everything else was fine. The place looked nice, the staff was nice and I didn’t have many maintenance issues. Wouldn’t live here again tho.

The staff here is fantastic. They are very welcoming, knowledgeable and always willing to help in any way. The neighbors are friendly and it’s very quiet. I’ve been so happy since deciding to call this place home. I highly recommend it.

I could go on for hours about what it was like living at this apartment complex for the past 2 years. if you’re looking for a safe living environment, turn back now. this is not the place for you. my roommate and I were exposed to many unsafe situations in our building and around the community, as well as her car being stolen out of the parking lot right out front of our building. the leasing office is no help. multiple conversations with the property manager got us no where. we were told extra security measures would not help (extra security being cameras, because they have NONE). we were told the best they can do is “send a letter out to the apartments”, which also never happened. my roommate and I have dealt with cops and detectives at our door because a felony crime was committed right next door, we had our property damaged and never repaired even though we gave the police report to the leasing office, there was a fugitive police chase in the backyard shared area of my building, and get this! every summer we’ve lived here, our AC unit miraculously stops working and has to be replaced. 80 degrees in our apartment, we have pets, and they do not care. these people do not care about you, just your money. and once you sign, you cannot get off the lease early. we tried. for $2400 a month, you’d think we would have some basic safety measures in place or even working air conditioner.

I've been here for a little less than two months. Maintenance is fast and friendly, which was great since my unit had some maintenance issues when I first moved in like the fridge not working because it was filled with bugs of some sort. Gross, but maintenance brought me a new fridge immediately. He even helped me change lightbulbs in some of the hard to reach light fixtures, which I appreciated.I just wish the neighbors in and around my specific building were better. Most of them are fine, but the ones that aren't tend to make their issues an issue for all other residents. The office has been prompt about helping me when I bring community concerns to them. The office staff is always nice and ready to help me.I appreciate the screened in patios. My unit is a bit dark however because of where it's located. If you need a lot of sunlight, definitely consider the location of your unit.I haven't seen any pests besides the ones I found in the old fridge and your average house spiders (knock on wood). The grounds are mostly taken care of. Some people don't pick up after their dogs, though. The walls are relatively thick, but if someone is yelling or if there's a dog barking near you, you'll definitely hear it. The doors to the units are hard to slam in my opinion, but there are people who slam their door and it will shake my unit.I love the soft close drawers in my unit. I really appreciate when complexes try to anticipate common noise complaints by installing quiet appliances and hardware.I also love the electronic touch pad locks on all the doors so I don't have to carry house keys. The app to control that and the AC works and is easy to use.The dog park is nice, but I do wish they didn't use mulch since it cuts up my dog's paws if she runs really fast. It's a large space, which my dog appreciates. The trash valet is cool, though sometimes they miss my trash can but grab everyone else's on my floor, so I have to take the trash up to the dumpster near the leasing office in the morning.

I've lived here for 3 years. It's sad to say that I'm actually leaving. This by far has been the best Apt Complex I've ever lived in. The Maintenance team is prompt and accurate, Corrie the Property Manager is helpful and the property is well kept and clean. The newly interior renovation adds an even nicer touch.

SHERRI!!!!I toured the facility on a Friday at 5pm… A FRIDAY at 5PM! I’ve toured a few communities and many consultants have been tired and unenthusiastic (at 10am). During my visit, Sherri was extremely kind, knowledgeable, patient AND passionate! She knows and loves what she does. I thoroughly enjoyed my visit. Sherri enthusiastically showed me two units and a tour of all community amenities (which I loved). Sherri also spoke very highly of her colleagues at the sister properties (I’ve toured two of the sister properties she referenced :-) ). Overall, my visit was great! Thank you Sherri for taking time, on a Friday evening, to give me one of the best tours I’ve experienced.
