I've been coming here since they opened up under a new owner and it is the only salon in the area I will go to. I regularly visit for dip on my nails and a gel pedicure and I am happy with my results every single time. I usually try to ask for Selena for my dip but for pedis, I will sit with any of the techs. They are nice and remember all their regulars. I will say, the appointments run a smidge long... if you are getting a mani/pedi, you may be looking at a few hours in the salon but I would much rather devote more time in the chair than have nails I didn't stare at and get excited over ?

Took the kiddo to her our nails done on a Friday night at ~4:15p. I finally paid $155 for these (inspo on top, ours on bottom) at 7:30p.
I could have watched the entire Titanic movie. I sat with acetone soaking my nails for so long I had gunk fused to me and my fingertips burned. At hour 3 they finally checked to see if they had the accent color I wanted (they did not).
The stylists are nice and the place is clean (got a face-lift since I'd been there last) but good lord, ask for timeframes, as they don't seem to think it's appropriate to communicate a several hour wait.
Also: the review link texted to me 2hr post check in is dead.
Edit as I can't respond to owner comment: attached photos of them chipping the next day so I won't be back as I don't trust the product, but would love at least a partial refund. Had it been communicated to me that you were so behind (there was one person in a chair and 3-4 employees when I walked in), I wouldn't have stayed --- we had plans. All I am asking is to communicate reasonable expectations to people; just because you -can- get them done before close doesn't mean that you -should- without communicating.
Requested style: Provided pictures - they do not carry metallic polish.
Cleanliness: Very clean.

I was not pleased with my service at Nails Tech. It took 1 1/2 hours for them to do a pedicure. It seemed like the tech who did my nails was new. First off, there was a hole in the bag that goes in the pedicure bowl, when I brought it to her attention she emptied the water into the bowl and just told me to put my feet in it because the bowl was clean. I told her that there needs to be a bag before I put my feet in there. Next I asked for a regular pedicure ( I think it was called classic pedicure) and she starts putting gel on my toe nails and I informed her that I did not want gel. I had to ask if she was going to file or trim my nails and then she asks oh you want your nails filed or trim. Then someone else comes over and starts working on my nails. They were going to do a manicure and told me I could wait a few minutes someone would be right with me. It was just completely a horrible experience and I would not recommend Nails Tech to anyone nor will I go back there. I ended up leaving and going to another salon to get my manicure done and I was in and out in no time. The service was much better there and my nails turned out nice.
In response to your reply, I am being truthful when I am saying that the tech wanted me to put my feet in the bowl when she emptied the water into it and I was told the bowl was clean . Yes you will see on security camera that she did change the bag but that was because I asked. All you see on camera is that she changed the bag but not the conversation. In the future it would be a good idea to let others know that there is a new tech who will be doing their nails and it may take awhile. A hour and a half to me is unacceptable when you are paying for a simple pedicure.

I’m obsessed with Selena and Nail Tech. I’ve been getting my nails done for over 35 years at different places in Pasadena and I went to Nail tech for the first time this spring and I will never go anywhere else again. Selena’s attention to detail and the designs she creates are amazing! I get the best pedicures there as well and so affordable.
Cleanliness: This is a very clean and modern salon. I’ve been to many in the area and this is the cleanest
Stylist: Selena is so skilled. I showed her a picture of something I saw online and she nailed it.

awful place. they seem nice but they really will say anything they can just to get your money. I came in there wanting just a basic full acrylic set with french tips. My mom specifically said she wouldn’t spend 70 and that her limit was 50. I told the lady what i wanted and my mom said how much she would spend twice and so did i, so she agreed and started to do my nails. i love the nails so much but they ended up being 70 dollars after my mom specifically she would go somewhere else if it was 70 so they lied and said it would be 50 just so we could pay her more. Great nails but awful awful awful service. liars and manipulators.
Edit: they responded and they are still lying. Yes i know that we agreed on the price of 50 you agreed of the pricing too. but you changed it when we were leaving to 70. if you actually checked your cameras you would see that we BOTH agreed on 50 dollars. i do NOT recommend coming here or you will get cheated out of your money.

First off I said BEFORE we started that I did not want to spend $70 dollars and I showed her exactly what my daughter wanted…acrylic almond with French tips!! She CLEARLY SAID 50 and I agreed to the service. When we were done she said it is $70 and said with a review it would be 65! I am soooooo upset and mad about this as I clearly said no to 70 and she told both my daughter and I from the beginning it would be only 50! She manipulated us into getting my daughters nails done and then after changed the price! Liars and manipulators!
Edit: They responded and lied again! They said they reviewed the security cameras and if they did they would CLEARLY hear me say I was NOT spending 70 on nails and the tech CLEARLY said 50! She didn’t say anything else about the shape being more or anything like that! My daughter told her what she wanted and she said 50 twice! My daughter was so upset about it that she told her father when he got home how they changed the price! If they continue to try and lie I will cross post this review on multiple social media platforms as well as a video! Your move nails tech…
