All this firm cares about is increasing their numbers and I will thoughly explain why. I first encountered Mr. Walls when I received a letter from the IRS regarding an error on the sale of my home back in 2021. He corrected that error and asked me to send him a video stating how he helped me fix the error. I came in to have my 2023 taxes done in office and brought all of the associated documents including my receipts from donating to goodwill and the salvation army. I divorced in 2022 so I donated a ton of items, furniture, clothes, a unique armoire, and much much more. He takes out the donation forms and asked me to give him a number of how much I donated. I told him that it was at least $10k. He then proceeds to berate me and to make matters worse, there was a room full of other clients there listening to him do this. He mentioned the IRS letter letting the entire room know all my personal business. I could not get a word in edgewise because my simple answer was to just not include the donations. He even mentioned that he was deciding whether or not he wanted to do my taxes. I am extremely confident as to the reason he went off the way he did is because he was assuming that I was trying to cheat the government. I have worked for the government for many many years including 10 years with the White House, why on earth would I make any attempt to cheat the government? His behavior was extremely disheartening and because of it, I will not be returning nor recommending his services to anyone I know. I have many friends who are entrepreneurs and what we all like is personable and pleasant service. Yes Mr. Walls is extremely knowledgeable (hence the two stars), however he couldnt even remember my name and was so unprofessional that it turned me off completely from ever using his services again.

Great service and always walk away happy. Chris and Micheal are friendly and fast. They’ve been handling my booking for a few years now as well. If you enjoy crabs during the summer, Chris also has a crabbing business! Recommend 100%

Been going to Michael Walls since I moved back to the DMV in 2017. His office had always been knowledgeable and reliable. As long as you have all your documents, and your taxes aren’t too complex, it’s possible to be in and out in less than an hour.
I always forget at least (1) thing but bring my computer with me so I can email the document to Mike on the spot.

Was able to load all information in the portal. Which is great since we are not local, very easy to do! So you don’t have to be local to work on your taxes! Fast and efficient response in getting our taxes done! Very professional and knowledgeable with all the tax laws!
