We have been bringing our Irish Terrier here for 6 years, and every time she leaves looking fantastic. Astrid is the only one our dog will allow to cut her nails, and I mean only! Astrid and her team put up with our little gremlin's drama every single time for months until eventually, Piper will now sit still and chill out for nail trimming.
I absolutely recommend this team. Make sure your dog has exercised first though! They'll be there for a while and it's kinder as an owner and to the team to do your part and let the dog be worn out first.
This is my favorite grooming spot, even though I've learned how to do some of the techniques myself, and I've moved a few hours away, when I come down to visit, I will still make time to take my dog here for nails and a complete groom, nowhere else.

Love our groomer Brittany, she does great with both of our Pomeranians! We appreciate her flexibility and her skills. One of our dogs has a bit of a temperament but she loves her. Have been coming here for the past year and couldn't of asked for a better grooming place for them to go to.

I've been taking my dog here for several years now. Unfortunately, my last visit was unpleasant and I decided to never come here again. The groomer nicked underneath my dog's armpit and it bled. She told me it was under one armpit when in fact, it was both. She used glued to seal up the wound. She blamed my 4-lb maltipoo with no teeth, claiming that she tried to bite her. I've had my dog for over a decade and she has a pretty chill temperament. Besides, she literally has no teeth and is 4-lbs and the groomer is trying to tell me that she got startled when my dog tried to bite her. If the groomer was just upfront and honest, admitting she made a mistake, I would have understood, but to blame my weak little toothless dog, it's really upsetting. Additionally, their customer service is lackluster. I gave this place three stars because my dog does look cute when they're done with her. Although, the first time I stopped coming here because they didn't properly handle my dog's ears during the bath and she got an ear infection. After I told them about it, the groomer was more careful. However, blood was shed and I didn't like how the groomer handled the accident so I am taking my business elsewhere.

We have been bringing our 3 dachshunds in for over a year now just for nail trims. Each of the three women working there are the absolute BEST. They know how to handle dogs, big and small, and they are always so accommodating. We are so lucky to have found It’s a Pet Thing and these three ladies. Wish I could give them more than 5 stars!

Brittany is amazing!!! Our boys have been groomed by her since they were puppies. She goes above and beyond during each appointment. We have always felt comfortable leaving our babies with her, I can't imagine going to anyone else....ever

Amber is simply the best! Our dog is truly a special case and she never complains and always does a flawless job getting him clean and crisp. I cannot recommend her enough!

Astrid did wonders with our big 80lb puppy! He came home looking incredible and, the best part, not stressed at all. Just had a blast getting an incredible hair cut! Highly recommend!

Percy has never looked better He got a tiny Christmas tie today!!! Super cute! Amber has been the only groomer for our ten yr old Maltichon. I appreciate how patient she is with him...and it is obvious he is happy under her care because he is always super calm when I pick him up. Highly recommend. THANK YOU, Amber & It’s A Pet Thing!

Boone is an older dog and needs special care. He’s been to IAPT 2 x and he’s been treated with care and kindness. He seems happy when he leaves and his bath today was lovely. He got a holiday bandana and he smells so good. Boone will be a frequent visitor at IAPT - thank you
