“This is a decent grocery store — lowest prices on many items. Their freezer section isn’t huge, so they run out of my favorites: cauliflower and broccoli. The produce is okay, basics but not a huge amount of variety. Some of the Aldi’s favored brands are fine and some are not so great. Their hotdogs, greek yogurt, and chips are not up to what I’m expecting. The chicken breasts and salad stuff is fine, they have beverages and carry a lot of sugary brands but not as many Diet/Zero as they could. Their prices are usually lower than Walmart, and significantly less expensive than many of the other chain or single grocery stores. The store is clean and the staff is fine. They seem to be working all of the time. There’s only one register line here with several self check-outs. It doesn’t matter to me, I usually prefer self check out. I’d rather drive a couple extra miles to get stuff at Aldi, if I can. But if they don’t have what I need, Walmart and Weis are across the street. Aldi does have this kind of “junk aisle” where they sell lots of random stuff. Kind of addictive looking for stuff I don’t need. It is somehow better than Lidl and other similar set ups. It seems like a feature of Aldi’s appeal rather than just weird stuff. They do sell some brand name products: Coke and Doritos for example, but mostly they seem like house brands you never heard of before. Aldi was leading on the no-free-bags trend that is now legally required everywhere. I appreciate that. The lot is usually not too crowded, but it is on a bit of an incline; I haven’t a cart roll away yet.”

“This is a good Royal Farms. You can order hot food ahead, and the gas lines are usually not too crowded. The air compressor never works, though. so don't plan on putting air in your tires here.”
“Angel's is a one stop shop for everything from grocery's, beer n wines, deli meats and famous salads for generations. Out on the peninsula of Mountain road, it's location is convenient to the thousands of homes in the area, and away from the hustle and bustle. Shop with neighbors and friends! I support local business, and for one, I'm glad we have them! Since the closing of Phelps liquor, Angels has stepped up and provided and even larger selection of beer, wines and liquor's at competitive prices as well! Don't forget the ice! Great place!! A+++”

“I have been taking advantage of online ordering with pick up since Covid. I am generally satisfied with the grocery order. My last 3 orders have been very disappointing with the produce & am considering giving Giant a try because of this. I purchased apples & everyone was mushy & had brown spots the day I picked up my order. Just purchased plums & had to throw all of them out within a day. All were rotting &!mushy. Also purchased a shrimp pasta salad & threw all of that out within a day. Taste was “off” & smelled bad. Shrimp had a weird texture. I feel like they load my orders up with bad produce that costs me a lot”
“Great selection, reasonable prices, friendly staff. Their sign says “coldest beer in town” and that is right! They are also open 7 days a week and have solid hours. There’s also an ATM inside and various food, cooking ingredients, snacks and the like. Highly recommend!”

“Great little local store with the normal random variety of dollar (but not everything is actually $1) store. The place is pretty small and tight aisles but overall clean, often cluttered with boxes in the aisles. Some great deals still to be had though. They do sell helium balloons or will fill your own provided balloons (bring your own string too) for $2 each. The staff there are always friendly to greet you and helpful if you need assistance.”
