My business professionally manages several thousand condo units in Ocean City MD, working with countless contractors to assist out clients in maintaining and improving their communities. BEWARE: My project was remodel/addition. Crew showed up 1 day, then nothing for 10 dyys. Left windows and door holes open to elements for weeks (bats and mice entered attached home!) Brand new roof leaked. Carpentry did not pass County or Structural Engineer's inspections first-time through, so Tyler had to come back and make remediations. After 4 months, we had to find another contractor who tore out half of what Tyler had done and rebuilt it from scractch.Service: Home addition construction

We had a framing issue with a home we purchased in the area for retirement. All the good contractors are busy and it seems this one is no different. When we originally received their proposal they provided an estimate of 6 to 10 weeks. The framing issue was holding us up from making other needed repairs prior to moving in. We explained this to them and they were able to come out 3 weeks early to do the work. They had a clear understanding of the issue and sent a competent, well equipped team to perform the work. While I don't give recommendations I can say that, based on our experience, we plan to use this contractor again. I hope that says it all. Thank you Tyler Building Company for getting to us so quickly.

Unless you want a bunch of young kids (The oldest was 27 youngest 18) to your house and a 3 week project with mismatched drip edging and a terrible looking roof cap that they never returned to replace look elsewhere!!

Tyler Building Company renovated my kitchen as well as other items in my condo. I love the work they did! My kitchen is everything I had dreamed it would be. They were very helpful and responsive to all my questions. Even when I asked for an additional change towards the end of the project they were extremely accommodating. I have since recommended them to others in the area and have no doubt will use them again.

Very polite staff but do not expect a response. I asked for a quote approximately a week before Thanksgiving for a decent size project and was told I'd have an estimate 2 weeks later. It is now a week before New year's (6 weeks later) and still no estimate. After calling several times to check the status, I was told multiple times I'd get it that day or the following business day... Still nothing...

Quickly responded to my request for an estimate to remodel bathrooms and kitchen for an open concept. Estimator was very nice, said the estimates may take a few weeks. It's been almost 3 months. The company reached out and apologized for the delay a month ago, promising to have something to me within days, but the few days turned into weeks with no estimates. Despite their positive reviews, don't waste your time like I have as this is just unacceptable, especially when a lot of many is at stake.
