I wish I had listened to my gut telling me to walk out of the sales office, but I didn’t, and instead bought a Chrysler Pacifica in April 2023 and have regretted it every day since June 2023 when the transmission failed. It has now been 18 months and our van is currently in their service lot for the FOURTH time in the span of a year and a half; it’s been 2.5 weeks and we have yet to get even a diagnosis. I called Friday afternoon last week, it’s now been over 3 full business days without a call back. I wish I could say this was out of the norm, but unfortunately every single time has been this way— no one answers, we leave messages, no one calls back, we either have to call multiple times or go in person (I wish I was kidding- but we’ve driven over there multiple times just to talk to someone to get updates on our vehicle because we can’t reach them by phone).
The first time our van was there for over 2 months for a transmission replacement. Second time I think was a week for a collant pump. Last time was I believe a month also for a coolant pump. And now we’re about to wrap up 3 weeks that they’ve had our vehicle and we have not even a diagnosis or estimated time to get it back. They don’t provide loaner vehicles so we’re either sharing a car, borrowing a car, or paying to rent a car on top of our car note— expensive and inconvenient options.
If you were tracking, yes, we’ve owned the van for 18 months and it’s been sitting at Heritages Service department for more than 4 of those months. At this point it’s just a not funny joke that every 3 months we expect the van to break down. I’m a pregnant mom of a toddler and have been stranded on the side of the road 3 times in this vehicle, and once more it broke down half way into our garage.
Aside from just this awful post-buying experience, the buying experience was only slightly less frustrating. The guy who sold us the car clearly didn’t know much about EVs. He got a coworker there to convince us that the recall on the vehicle wasn’t that bad or they would have had to pull the cars off the road (not his fault we were stupid enough to believe him; or maybe having your van break down repeatedly is just not considered that bad). When they finally got the sale finalized we had been there over 3-4 hours with our 6 month old, it was 10pm, and the guy who does the paperwork and sells the warranties would not stop pressuring us. We had a fussy baby and said no multiple times and he just kept trying and trying. I’ve bought plenty of cars in my life and know this wasn’t standard; he was over the top pushy. 18 months later I realize why he pushed so hard; they were selling us the used version of a lemon. Glad we didn’t buy the warranties because I cannot imagine having to pay for such terrible service and to have our van out of commission for weeks or months at a time.
I know this place has 4.3 stars, but do whatever you can to avoid this place. We had a great experience at Heritage Mazda in Bel Air in 2020 and cars can be transferred to other heritage locations— do yourself a favor and if you like a car here, have it transferred to a different heritage location. This purchase is definitely the one I’ve regretted more than any other in my 35 years of life, and unfortunately, other than our home, it was the most expensive purchase we’ve ever made too.
I don’t think I can find one good thing to say except that at least so far all our repairs have been fixed under the standard warranty they offer. We plan to count our losses, sell the van and a buy elsewhere; I cannot wait to be done with this place forever.

Bought a used vehicle from Heritage almost three years ago.
Turns out, they sold me someone else's problem and did not disclose that to me.
They sold me a suv whose transfer case failed before 40K miles, and replaced it with a transfer case from a junk yard. Which failed again, before 90K miles.
This was not in the Carfax.
Just know what you're buying before you end up underwater on a vehicle that needs four grand in repairs.

We had a great experience at Heritage! This was our second Jeep purchase from them, and we will not go anywhere else! From the start the manager Brad went above and beyond to help us out, and our sales person Jeremy was so knowledgeable and kind. They both made the car buying experience easy! Thank you guys again! I highly recommend anyone in need of a Jeep, Ram, or Dodge to come check them out!

It was a very nice experience, and the part I needed was right there, so that was very nice as well. I think I will be seeing you all again. Thanks ?.

Bought 2 cars here in less than 2 weeks. 1st one the brake caliber fell off while I was driving which could have killed me and then we traded that one back in and bought another jeep and had it a few months and now the AC system went up and it took over 2 weeks just to get the part and on top of that they want my car for 2 days to fix it and don't offer a loaner vehicle. We will never buy a vehicle from here again. Customer service is awful.

Honestly, it was the best car buying experience we’ve had. We used cargurus to help us find what we were looking for and it led us to Heritage in Parkville. There we met Jeff who took us out on a test drive and made the paperwork process super easy. This is the second vehicle we bought from there in four years. And if we need a new car in the future, heritage will be our first stop.

I had an appointment with the service department because my right door pad is coming unglued. Turns out this is common. When I took it in they wanted me to leave it for evaluation. I was amazed that it would take them up to two hours to look at my car. I also asked if the wheel sensors I got from them are covered if I used the in aftermarket wheels and they said no. Very disappointed with this dealership . I will never come here again

Getting too much run around. Haven't had the car for a month and it has a major issue. They want me to feel like they're different then other dealerships but they keep proving to me that they are just like most of the rest.
Update: Brad Scammell has put my mind at ease. I appreciate him and everything he did for me today.

Absolutely amazing experience from the moment I walked in to the moment I left with the car. The staff here is so attentive it almost seems unreal! By the way, the car I bought is doing great and if there was an issue, Cody would resolve it quickly.

This rating is for the service department. Don't say you did something and didn't. I'll leave it at that. I'm taking all my cars elsewhere for any service needed.
Thanks

I purchased a 2019 Dodge Journey I've always had it service at peritas Chrysler Dodge in parkville No one has never did any other service on my vehicle but them when I brought the vehicle I purchased a extended powertrain warranty that covers the engine transmission all around on May the 16th 2024 my car stop while I was driving it home from work The check engine light came on and it overheated I then headed towed to heritage in parkville I spoke with Alex Donnie the next day which was the service advisor he told me it was some kind of lying and that he is waiting for the parts They put the parts on it and said the problem was still not resolved that it's my engine my engine went up I told him that I have the warranty in it should cover it he said he don't think so he don't think it will cover it instantly write the net before he even sent it to the warranty department he already was determined that it wasn't going to cover it I told him that it will cover it It's a power train warranty then he told me the next day that it they will not aren't it because the holes cause the engine to go up The warranty department will not honor the warranty for my engine because they just don't want to pay for it It covers it but they said the holes caused it heritage Chrysler is the only one ever worked on that vehicle I have never even opened up the hood to that vehicle They are scammers do not go to this park with heritage to get your car fixed because they knew what was going on up under that hood from the very beginning They caused this and they don't want to earn it

Had an excellent experience there. Sara was my initial sales person but couldn’t help me when I came in so Andre took over. He went above and beyond to get the car I wanted. I barely dealt with the manager and to be honest, both Sara and Andre handled the situation so good that I didn’t even want to talk to him. Will definitely come back or recommend them.

My wrangler 4xe needs a new HV battery and currently still in shop for a month. Called and left numerous messages asking for an update and still have spoken to no one. Jeep wave customer service has luckily been helping but I’d never buy a jeep from this particular location because of their service department.
