I had one of the most frustrating experiences I ever had in my life while trying to shop there and the only reason I'm giving them a star is so my review will be posted. I went in there to buy some soap and deodorant. Now in some Family Dollar they keep those items locked up or towards the front of the store where you pay for your items because people come in there and steal but at this location they didn't so I asked two women for help. The younger black lady told me that she didn't work there but the older white woman did and when I went to grab the soap the younger black lady told me because I was a man and there were 2 women in the aisle I better hurry up - grab my stuff and go. For one who are you and who were you to say that? I wasn't paying her any mind other than when I initially asked her did she work in the store and if the stores employees had on anything to identify that they actually worked for Family Dollar I wouldn't have had a reason to speak to her to begin with.I get that people are on edge andthey constantly have to be on alert. They are frightened but the way she spoke to me was uncalled for and I really had to restrain myself from saying or doing something that I know later on I would regret. I don't know what's the deal with Family Dollar and Dollar Tree but they have some of the most disrespectful trifling people shopping and workingthere and it's a shame that people who are struggling have to be subjected to this mess. If I had the money I would NEVER shop here and I wouldn't encourage anyone else to either.

Other than the fact that I been trying to apply since the first time I shopped here. It's the closest convenience I have. Now how convenient would it be for you to have me and my kids restocking and filling up the shelves.

Each time I've visited associates are on their phone. Store is not stocked with allessentials. I reported a Spill and and it took almost 20 minutes to be addressed. There were only 5-6 customers no reason for delay.

Horrible! I brought a bag (to put my *bought* heavy groceries in at Shoprite, after - since I don't have a car) and the Family Dollar cashier was deeply offensive. He thought I was a thief! Disgusting treatment. I have never encountered such a cashier ever. Never!He told me to put my bag at the front & watched me pick out the food I would buy - with deep suspicion. When I was ready to pay, he picked up my bag - and brought it over at the register, so he can be sure I wasn't going to put my groceries in there.Ghetto, prejudiced and disgusting.I have NEVER EVER shoplifted in my life and it's deeply offensive to even act as if I will. I've shopped there before & the security cameras were rolling, with the same bag. I have NEVER stolen in any of the times I've gone to this store. I have never put any unbought merchandise in my bag. EVER!

Very poor customer service. Sale signs posted . Manager saying sale over different color tag. But sale signs posted all over store. Never will I go to again.

Needs to be look over more . I grab a box off the bottom self and it was open from the bottom from mice. Other than that long lines nice and helpful workers. I'll still go back and shop in there.

Not the cleanest Family Dollar I've been in. However, the professional, courteous service and well stocked shelves mire than make up for it.
