“National Lumber has been a preferred partner of Smithouse Design + Build for several years. Rob and his team are always professional and go above and beyond to ensure we have the materials we need on our job sites on time. We look forward to our continued partnership and building quality home remodels for many years to come!”
“The men were on point and paid attention to both major and minor details. I would definitely recommend their services to any company or organization in Maryland to use.”
“The location is under a bridge and kind of small, but you get in and out fairly quickly. Navigating to their facility is easy with an 18-wheeler and easy right off the highway. I will say that if you come on a busy day, their turn in could get packed and turn into a mess.”
“Visited Alside's showroom to take a look and feel of their insulated vinyl sidings and feeling not confident just by reading brochures in their website. Had an excellent interaction with Herson who was very helpful and provided more explanations about the sidings plus giving me samples. Now, I feel more confident of my decision which of these sidings to choose from. They also have windows and doors in their showroom.”
“Bonnie was excellent and very knowledgeable about her inventory and provided great suggestions for complimentary stone and colors. Fantastic customer service despite a busy business with contractors coming and going. The office is located in the white building behind the house that needs painting.”
“Awesome ordering experience.Walked in after being frustrated at Home Depot, from their lack of knowledge and support. At 84, my wife and I were greeted by Steven who was ready and willing to support our decking project. He was outstanding, more of a trusted advisor than a sales person, taking time to explain design, options and work with our budget.Lesson learned, started with 84 lumber over a “big box” home store and work with Steven!”
“So close to my house and didn’t know it wasn’t just for contractors had 4 inch baseboard Home Depot and Lowe’s didn’t for way cheaper and it wasn’t MDF!! The warehouse guy shrink wrapped it all and helped me get 5 16’ pieces of baseboard in my truck couldn’t be more pleased”

501 North Point Rd, Baltimore“Very knowledgeable, and they have tons of material ready and available for purchase. Various Delivery options to suite any need. Not only do they have roofing but I was able to purchased my replacement siding (after storm ripped it off) from there as well.”
“I went to the one out Dundalk first for 2 dressers this past Saturday.Although they claimed to be open on Google search, that was not the case. (Plus, no one answered the phone when I called). I was very disappointed because I had to pay to get there, which was 7 miles from my house. I did get the dressers from the one on Fulton Ave tho. And I left there happy. IF YOU CANNOT GET ANY ONE ON THE PHONE TO THE STORE IN DUNDALK, DO NOT GO!”

1831 Belt St, Baltimore“Used to be impossible to call in. 1 year ago i wrote the president the worst letter of my life. He immediately installed a policy they pick up by second ring or they are fired. They for over a year always answer are always polite and helpful. Truely a great business with the stuff you need to make it happen, fast and efficiently. Kudos”

“We have to make my life accessible as we go. We build ramps into our friends' houses. We fix our apartment so I can reach things, or not fall out of my wheelchair trying to get over that thing on the floor that separates the kitchen linoleum from the carpet (or the entrance into the bathroom). And we try to fix my 20+year-old accessible van as problems arise. Not to mention we still have all the home and life problems that everyone else has, that would require a trip to the home improvement store. This time we needed charcoal and wood chips so we could smoke a turkey for a gathering of friends to play Cards Against Humanity. I'm pretty sure that we bought our grill from Lowe's, too, just not this location. Yes, we use a regular, cheap black Weber grill to do our smoking. And every turkey we've made (we've done this at least three times) has turned out delicious and moist. Jeremy also needed an extractor kit/set because the arm that holds open the back hatch of our van broke randomly a couple weeks ago, and the screw is stuck in the panel of the van. Being an adult is so much fun, I tell ya. We needed help finding the extractor set, but we didn't even need to ask for help. Our confused conversation caught the attention of one of the employees, and he walked us right to the display. I do love it when I don't have to track down employees. It was a lackluster and uneventful trip. We found everything we needed. Since it's not spring yet, the store seemed sad and boring because there's nothing seasonal on display. While I do love Christmas nonsense, springtime is the best time at Lowe's. I need the outdoor garden area in my life! I need flowers and hope! Would recommend, especially in the spring.”
