While the receptionist was nice, I am really sick and tired of nail technicians who are clearly prejudiced lacing their interactions with black clients with micro agressions. Y’all need to treat people better. We can tell that you would rather not be serving us, despite us being loyal patrons

Ok so when I went to get my nails and lashes done the lady that did them was super nice and complimented me and all…BUT!!!At first when I got the lashes I was really concerned on how she was putting them on ofc… I just went with it and there was a bit of glue on my eye lids but when I got home I just cleaned them up… the lady said it would last for 1-2 weeks they felt uncomfortable for me and it’s just because it’s my first time geting my lashes done EVERY so I can’t really hate or nothing. I love them and they looked really cute on me as well so yeah I liked them and would get them again one day.

Where do I begin , I sat in the chair for a pedicure for over 30 mins , thinking they were ready to go . Yes , nothing went in the water , just water. Also, the lady was cutting away the cuticle on my feet , she cut soooo deep and then put the skin on top of my feet, it felt as if my toe should have bleed but when they sprayed that alcohol or cleaner, thats when you figure out , you’ve been cut . My toe still hurts comparable to having an ingrown nail, which was not the case. She neverrrrr really removed the dead skin with the callus removal process . I still saw my heels a little cracked and it looked terrible. Then towards the end , I asked for my eyebrows to be done. Never again, and she took away both of the tails of my eyebrows which takes forever to grow back . Sometimes , I believe some are jealous for the thickness of your eyebrows. My eyebrows are thick and when I left there , they were sooo small and unrecognizable . I’m highly upset , it is before Christmas and I cannot do this today. Very depressing and I now have to learn how to pencil in my eyebrows ?. Will not return. Service has really gone down and the area is getting horrible .

I recently visited Zen Nails at the Rivertown shopping center for a manicure, and unfortunately, my experience was less than satisfactory. One of the major issues I encountered was the persistent problem of nail polish lifting shortly after the service. Despite paying for a professional manicure, the quality of the work was subpar as the polish began to lift within days. This not only left me with an unsightly appearance but also raised concerns about the overall hygiene and attention to detail at Zen Nails. Moreover, I was disappointed with the lack of effort from the nail technician in addressing the shape of my nails. The result was far from what I had expected, with noticeable lumps, bumps, and rough spots. It was clear that the technician was either inexperienced or simply too lazy to ensure a polished and smooth finish. To make matters worse, when I brought up my concerns to the receptionist, I was met with dismissive and gaslighting behavior. I informed him about the slow pace of the nail technician, and instead of acknowledging the issue, he defensively stated, "That's not true because they work fast so that they can make all the money they can." This response not only failed to address my concerns but also revealed a concerning attitude towards customer feedback.Adding to the disappointment, I observed lint and dust on my nails during the application process. Rather than rectifying the situation, the nail technician attempted to cover up the imperfections with additional layers of nail polish. This not only highlighted a lack of attention to cleanliness but also demonstrated a willingness to compromise on the quality of service. In conclusion, my experience at Zen Nails was far from satisfactory. The issues with the nail polish, the lackluster nail shaping, and the dismissive attitude from the receptionist all contributed to a disappointing visit. I would advise potential customers to exercise caution and consider alternative nail salons with a better track record for quality and customer service.

Okay so I come to this area monthly to pay my mortgage and what better pick me up than getting your nails done to make me feel better! So I will say this is really a 3.5 review but I’ll say 4.Okay so I went in on like a Friday and was able to be seated right away, that’s a win. Charged me $60 to shape and she did a good job with my stilletto and then it was extra to choose two colors. I didn’t like that right after she just put oil in the cuticles and that’s it. No moisturizing the whole hand or fingers. They have these cute TVs around that promote the prices, services, nail inspo etc and it also shows a hand getting massaged the nails were done! Ask me was my palm even touched?! Lol. I just feel like that’s a small thing at the end that changes everything. Hands all dry and fingertips just shiny. I had to grab my lotion out my bag and rub my hands and crack my knuckles. But the place is nice! Chairs nice, place well kept etc.Now the second bad. Three of my nails started chippin less than 24 hours later! Like howww! I got a gel fill in and it was just peeling off! Nothing like your nails messing up after you just got them done. Now guess what I had to do? Go back the next morning because lord knows I couldn’t wait two days and then go back bc then I woulda been to blame! So I had to drive the next day, a Saturday, and I went close to opening bc lord knows I didn’t want to wait. Thankfully it was a rainy day and I beat the rush. I showed the owner my nails and I’m irked y’all bc it’s a rainy Saturday morning and I could be in bed had my nails not got jacked up. But I will say that they owner was super understanding! Asked me who did them and put me back in their chair. I was given a fresh set which was expected because it’s like 3-4 nails peeling yeah we gotta do it all over. She did it and it was much better this time around. They didn’t give me fuss or any hassle so that’s why it gets a 4.But yet again! No hand massage! Quick oil on tips and no even rubbing lotion in my palms or nothing so cute shiny fingertips but stiff fingers and ash hands. I just feel like a ten second hand rub down wouldn’t hurt.A ton of parking, place is clean- there was even like a kiddie korner where it was cute kid massage chairs for the kids. So I would definitely come back, prices reasonable and good customer service. But not a top pic for me without that TLC at the end.

Quality service quickly! Walk ins only but I never wait long. Shop is fully staffed and you stick with one person from start to finish. Discounts when paying in cash.

Beautiful and clean location, offers many services. I give 3 stars because it's over priced and I felt rushed and the job came out a little sloppy. If I'm paying those prices the work should not be rushed. My second time and my experience was the same each time . Will not return

They don’t tell you about all the extra fees, make sure you inquire, read and ask everything. Their basic gel pedicure is $47. There’s also a 4% surcharge if you don’t have cash. Also they charge $10 extra for sparkly nail polish. Not worth the wait or pay. There sets Last a week maybe week and 1/2. I suggest going somewhere with better quality for the pricing.

Don’t waste your time with this place. I got my nails done for my birthday on April 27th 3 days later my nails started chipping and coming off.. I went back up there so there can fix it and the new lady that fixed them did a horrible job. The paint was too thick and again it started to chip away again in less than a day.. when I usually get my gel set it last me roughy around 2-3 weeks not days.. save you money ladies cuz your better off doing them yourselfServices: Manicure

I love ZEN NAIL STUDIOS! They have a "princess area" for little girls. I take my daughter and self there at least once a month. Everyone is nice and the place is clean. On Tuesday and Wednesday that offer 15% off with cash payments. I usually see Nail Tech VICENT but his working days are limited, so I found ROCKY! Either way, those two guys are GREAT and perfectionist. THANKS ZEN NAILS!Services: Manicure

Unfortunately the quality has gone to the lowest, now one of the worst in the area. The technicians rush and do sloppy jobs, not painting the whole nail. They do not disinfect the pedicure tools. Tried to cut cuticles with a tool that already had cuticle skin in from previous person.Services: Acrylic nails
