It is really disappointing when employees from the store star arguing to customers. I was at this store location trying to print some pepper work for school but, employee’s seem to be more focused and closing the store than helping customers. Well anyway staples is been in business for years and we love it however, we come to spend money not to beg . I truly believe the employees are getting pay to take care of customers first. Oxon Hill store needs to improve providing quality to consumers.

Terrible customer service. Machines at this location have been out of service for WEEKS. You come to this store and are forced to use machines/computers at another location. It's terrible that management thinks this is type of service their customers ought to accept. I suspect if this business was not in a majority minority neighborhood the level of service would be much better. DO BETTER!!!

It took 20 minutes to check out and it was only 2 people in front of. 1 cashier and 1 person in at the customer service desk with a long line there. Hire more staff and stop trying to register people for stuff as they check out. The print area couldn’t ring me up because they didn’t have the device to remove the case around my purchase item and nor did they walk 20 steps to the main register to take 5 seconds and remove the plastic case of my item. Hire a new manager and staff the store appropriately. Staff acted like I was wrong do to their lackadaisical attitude and poor service.

Went here twice now and have received bad and slow service. My last experience I go there for an external hard drive. I get the box for the item. Take the item to the counter. No one is at the register. I wait 5 minutes. Finally the Asian male acknowledges me and comes to check me out. Again the item I have is advertised as in stock. He goes to get the item and returns empty handed. Brushes me to the side for the next customer. 5 minutes later an elderly associate comes from the back and says they don't have the item. One why have a box on the shelves if you don't have. Two why waste 10 minutes of my time.?Without offering an apology or another item similar. Just had service.

I hate when people aren't helpful just for the sake of not helping. The machine would not accept my card at the self kiosk and instead of printing and accepting payment at the register (which someone had done before when I had that issue) Ms. Swann wanted me to buy a staples card for something that would have cost less than a dollar (it was one sheet of paper which I mentioned). I was reminded of the there being people ahead of me even though no one was waiting. It literally took longer for her to explain why I needed to purchase a card and why she couldn't print this one piece of paper until tomorrow than it would have took her to print it.

My husband and I went to this Staples last night to scan some documents. The store was pretty empty. We stood in line waiting for service and Derrick, the customer service representative, was having a personal conversation with female employee. He acted like he didn't see us standing there. When he finally acknowledged us he pointed to the machine and told us to just push the button. Paper was stuck in the machine and Derrick was across the room and again didn't want to help us. He was on the phone laughing and hee-hawing. Derrick finally came over and told my husband that my husband was looking at him likehe wanted to fight him. My husband never said anything to him. He just patiently waited for Derrick to come over to help him. Derrick was very condescending and disrespectful.Another older man needed help as well and he too never got any assistance. My husband is in his 60's and sometimes has technical challenges. Is this the kind of customer service that Staples gives to older patrons?!?

Despite the bathroom being really disgusting this location has great service, lines are never too long. Staples is a lot cheaper than target.

This is a great Staples with everything you'd need from calendars to paper to passport photos to Halloween candy. It's spacious and well-stocked. The staff up front were kind and efficient.

Thank you, Ashley!!!I needed a same-day print job. Nothing crazy, but an important job for a business event. I worked with Ashley in the Printing/Marketing department and she was awesome!!! I spoke with her around 8:00 AM and she had my job ready to go by noon. She even called me (twice) to let me know it was ready to be picked up. Ashley is polite, courteous, professional, and intelligent. I may try to recruit her to come work for my company!Staples - you have a real keeper there. She's making your Oxon Hill Staples location look really good from a customer service standpoint.

Happy and Helpful Store!Went to get a wireless mouse and the customer service was top tier! As soon as I walked in the door I was happily greeted she asked what I needed walked me directly to the aisle and was very knowledgeable. The cashier was pleasant as well just a great experience I really appreciate that and will visit again. It makes me happy to see people happy at work.

my wife went to get ink for our printer or at least get someone there to help print something for her, she reports that no one was willing to help her, I can say from my personal experience the week prior in buying a monitor that no one is willing to help a customer unless they are directly asked to, it seemed as though they were more interested in their cell phones , when I did get help the young man was pleasant enough, even though he was from what I could tell the only one working, he stopped helped me and I was on my way. change of staff or more staff needed at this location

Went to Staples today in Somers Point NJ. Asked "customer service" rep about cables with specific function. The official Stapes Customer service reply was "If we have it, it's in aisle 12". So then I go to aisle 12 and search up and down for something I've never seen or that I'm not sure exists. A real customer service would have been yes, we have or no we don't or something more definitive. But Staples customer service just pass the buck and provides no customer service. Needless to say, I left without any purchase or satisfaction. If you want help, don't go to Staples, they obviously don't care or want your business.
