1700 Pennsylvania Avenue NW, Washington“The BEST post office I’ve ever been to. The team there is EXCEPTIONAL. They are friendly, efficient, and knowledgeable. Feels like a neighborhood place. I always look forward to my visits there. Shout out to Mayra for the great service as always.”
“I can't say enough great things about Luz and Arti. I came in with my wedding invitations, and they were so helpful with figuring out the stamps and the best way to ensure my lumpy envelopes would be mailed safely. I am so grateful for their time and kindness.”
“This place is awesome. Efficient little USPS mail stop right inside a liquor store! Looks like they have a nice selection of craft beer. I went there once on tax day and they were open until 8pm and hooked me up nicely. I think I'll go back some time and check out the beer and liquor offerings.”
“I have been to this location twice to get passports for my kids and it has always been pleasant. I was there this weekend and the 2 ladies there are very friendly and welcoming!”
9AM - 5PM
1050 Connecticut Ave NW, Washington“Kia is amazing. She brilliantly helped with a super urgent request with patience. She had a smile on her face and understood that I hadn’t mailed anything for a few years. Way to go!”
“I had a thoroughly pleasant experience at this post office taking care of a quick shipping order during my lunch break. I was probably in and out in about 15 minutes, which was way faster than I expected even though there was only one person in front of me in line. The gentleman who assisted me was friendly and helpful. I look forward to using this post office again.”
9AM - 7PM
2 Massachusetts Ave NE, Washington“This USPS location beneath the excellent Postal Museum is open on Sundays despite what is written on its entry doors. Try checking the doors on the N. Capitol Street side to enter into this USPS.”

200 Constitution Ave. NW, Washington“Normally trips to the post office are nothing to write home about. But today’s trip was different. Ms. Jackson was a pleasure to interact with. She is knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. She efficiently helped me with mailing my parcel and even took the time to enlighten me on the availability and value of stamps she had on hand. She left me with a great impression of this location.”

9AM - 1PM 2 - 5PM
416 Florida Ave NW, Washington“I showed up behind a long line 20 minutes before close thinking I might be out of luck. The woman working managed to get everyone sorted out, advised me on shipping options, and I was checked out with 10 minutes to spare.”
“Had a wonderful experience at this USPS! Both workers I interacted with were so kind and patient, and very helpful when I wasn’t sure the best way to proceed. Also got everything done fairly quickly, and the line moved fast (I went Saturday morning around 9:10am).”
“I wanted to take a moment to express my heartfelt appreciation for the exceptional service we received from the red-haired staff member at the post office during our recent passport appointment. Despite my husband's tardiness, she remained patient and professional, ensuring that our experience was seamless and stress-free. Her kindness and courtesy extended to my daughter as well, making us feel valued and supported throughout the process. Although I'm terrible with names, her excellent service has left a lasting impression on me. Kudos to this outstanding team member! Her dedication and warm demeanor are a true asset to the post office. Thank you again for your outstanding service, and to the rest of the staff. They were all cheerful with all customers.”

441 2nd St SW rm h2-121, Washington“Nothing to say but excellent service was provided by Ms.PAM , she was professional, nice and very quick. Went there with my wife and my twins for our first time passport appointment and everything was amazing, smooth process. This location is very recommended”
“For the June 19 holiday at this location, the lobby is open for self-service only. The counter is closed, no staff members. The USPS barcode scanner seemed not working, it kept saying invalid code.”
“Me and another lady and line had to loudly commend Porsche and her other staff for their exemplary service. The ability to multitask efficiently and effectively to cut down the wait time is phenomenal. I always bypass Fort Belvoir post office to come to this location. Because I know my needs will be taken care of. What an amazing reflection of their postmaster! Most be some updated training, or skills they self possess. WE LOVE IT!! Don’t lose that team! Great job hiring manager?????”
“This five star is for PAUL and Paul only. I only visit when he’s working which tends to be weekdays. Paul is ridiculously efficient, kind, friendly and will have you in and out within five mins. If you happen to visit on no-Paul day.::Good luck.I’ve never encountered a more poorly run and serviced post office than this location on King Street. They NEVER have enough people staffed on weekends. My God, you are the sole post office in a very dense populated area and management can’t simply staff at least TWO attendants on weekends? It’s unfathomable and completely ridiculous. The lines are constantly wrapped around and out of the door. Please do better USPS.”
9AM - 2PM 2:30 - 4:30PM
3500T Mount Vernon Memorial Hwy, Mt Vernon“Usually never that crowded when I come here to drop off ebay items. They always scan the items and it's easy to keep track of on tracking. Not very big inside but nice organized facility.”
11:30AM - 5PM 9 - 10:30AM
3321 Georgia Ave NW, Washington“The workers here are incredibly kind and helpful. Despite an overall rude customer base, the workers are purposeful and excellent in their reactions to screaming and rudeness. Workers: 12/10, incredible experience. 0, it seems this location is inappropriately understaffed to a point of detriment to the workers. They shouldn’t have to deal with constant harassment due to clear mismanagement. Customer base: -100/10, rude, inappropriate, and abusive toward workers. Do better.”
9AM - 1PM 2:15 - 5PM
2341 Pennsylvania Ave. SE, Washington“The mail service is mostly ok, but if I get more than one piece of mail in my box it's all crammed in... like folded..bent... crammed in the mailbox. There's no excuse for that!”
“Overall, the staff has always been friendly and cooperative. I have lived in Clinton for 20+ years and have never had a bad experience there. The one exception is sometimes there is a very long line - some days are busier than others!”
8:30AM - 1PM 2 - 4PM
217 Buffalo Soldier Ave, Fort Myer“The person working the desk was so cheerful and kind! This was no small feat, I am sure, since I visited near closing time on a Friday.I brought in a package to ship with duct tape on it, which she informed me was not allowed. I would have just left and come back another day, but she said someone else had left a roll of tape behind and I could use that. This is obviously not something that is always available, but I feel thankful that someone left tape behind and that she thought to offer it to me!”
“This is not a RETAIL STORE. They are a Bulk Mail Unit and distribution center for 22314 area code. They do not sell stamps, certifies, money orders, priority boxes, passports, drop offs etc.”
“I went on a Saturday again and it was clean, the line moved quickly and the woman working there was polite, efficient and friendly. Post offices rarely get praised and this one certainly deserves.”
7:30AM - 5PM
50 Massachusetts Ave NE, Washington“Conveniently located in the basement of Union Station, in between the downstairs food court and entrance to the Metro. They were open on a Saturday morning and I was able to drop off a small package.”
“I have been a customer at this location for many many years. This post office receives a lot of customers throughout the days hence the wait time. They need more reps on the front line. However, the staff members have always been polite and friendly to me.”
“The Longworth House Office Building Post Office is quite simply the best US Post Office I have encountered anywhere. The lines move quickly, the staff is friendly and they always have an abundance of stamps and mailing supplies. Mail is dispatched in the morning and after 4:00 p,m, in the afternoon. Staff will provide a special manual cancellation if you ask for it. The post office is located in the basement of the Longworth Building, but is open to the public. You will have to go through security upon entering the Capitol complex. It is easily reached by tunnel from the Cannon and Rayburn buildings.”
“I stopped by to drop off some wedding invitations and Eboni was so nice and patient with me assisting me on the correct postage to have on each envelope since they all weighed a bit different. Thank so much for your help!”
“Went here today for my passport...I thought the process would take long and be complicated but with the help of Andre one of the employees it was smooth sailing. Andre was patient, well mannered and very efficient. If your at this post office say hi to Andre. Thanks Andre”
