41 Audrey Ln, Oxon Hill“**Update**I was contacted by a customer service manager who corrected the issue expeditiously and fixed it going forward. Now, I am cautiously optimistic that I will remain a customer of Industrial Bank for the foreseeable future.06.06.2023: This review can be applied to the Forestville and Oxon Hill locations. I went into each of these locations and requested to update my billing and physical address (2.5 years ago and a little less than 2 years ago, respectively). Now that I have an expired debit card, I am being told that I did not have an address change on my account. Although I used this bank to facilitate the purchase of my new home and made the address change based on the transactions on my account, I am being told that I have to go into "a branch" to get a new debit card(45 minutes drive) or wait an additional 2 weeks for it to be mailed after I submit an address change by mail.This is too much of an inconvenience for me as a customer who does most of my business electronically and who had been jumping through too many hoops to maintain my account with Industrial Bank.I was told that my "new card" (never mind the card that they sent to the incorrect address may have been received by someone who will try to use it to gain access to my funds) cannot be sent to me expedited since it wasn't my fault the information was not updated in time.Therefore, I will be withdrawing all of my funds from Industrial Bank and I will NEVER use them again. In addition, I will ensure that all of my family and friends make a better choice for personal banking.”
“The people are nice and knowledgeable but there's always 1 teller and 1 customer service rep to help out the customers and there's always about 5 or more people waiting to speak with customer service. I have been up there about 3 times this week and can not see anyone during my lunch break due to lack of help. The people who are working is doing the best that they can but management need to hire more employees to get the lines moving! So sad that it takes 30 to 45 minutes & sometimes longer to take care of anything at this bank. (To the Corporate Office): You guys need to do better because this will destroy your business!!!”
