I hired Petra movers for a local move. They made moving an enjoyable experience. They were on time, reasonably priced. It was not an easy move, I have two pianos, one was very heavy and had to go up stairs. They were pleasant, always kept smiling and worked very hard. They took a lot of time preparing, wrapping and protecting. They did an awesome job! I highly recommend Petra Moving Company!!

Petra Moving Company did an outstanding job packing our home in Virginia and moving us 1,200 miles across the country. They were professional, knowledgeable and timely. We have moved 12+ times, all across the US and Petra Moving is the best moving company we have ever worked with. Moving is a stressful process and they helped reduce our worries. Daniel and his team packed us and delivered. Having the same individuals pack and deliver the household goods is a definite advantage when unpacking. Dan and Company are/were such a blessing! We were in the process of moving aging parents across multiple states and Dan made the actual move a breeze. Dan was very responsive throughout the planning process and always got back with us. They arrived precisely on time and moved very efficiently throughout the process. Our day started in Ohio at 7 am and they arrived in Indiana (350 miles) at 5 pm the same day and unpacked everything, set things up and departed by 7 pm. It was critical that everything was completed in the same day and Dan came through for us. The price we were quoted is the price we paid, no surprises ?. We can’t thank Petra Moving Company enough for the awesome job they did for us. They will be our go-to movers going forward. Thanks Dan!!!

I wish i could give this Company 100 Stars. Everytime we seek Petra moving company with help on a move it feels just like we are Family and are treated as such. Cannot sing their praises enough. Dan and his company have been a true God send for our family the past two months.My father-in-law passed away unexpectedly and we were left with a home full of things and unsure where to turn or how to get through it all ourselves.We were referred to Dan for junk removal services after the family had gone through everything and we ended up using Dan and Petra Moving for junk removal, carpet removal, painting, handyman, and project management services. It was a complete one-stop-shop and took SUCH a load off of our shoulders, as we all lived out of the area. Having someone we could trust on the ground every day helping us get the house ready for sale was huge.The house was under contract in less than 15days and I think Dan and Petra had a huge part in that!Thank you again Dan, you have customers for life!

I just recently purchased a new home and I was referred to PETA Moving Company. I must say it was worth it. They were very professional and courteous. The arrived on time disassembled packed loaded and transported everything over to my new address. Where they reassembled and helped me organized a bit. Cost wise compared to the quotes I was getting from other companies this was very cost effective. Overall great company great crew I will definitely be using again for any moving needs.

I first went to Angi's list to find a recommendation for a moving company to move our son and family to a new house. My wife and I came to West Virginia from California to help with the move and spend time with the grandkids. I sent a request to four companies to contact me so I could get an estimate. Daniel from Petra Moving Company was the first one to call me almost immediately. I set up an appointment to meet with Daniel at my son's home the next day and he was on time and very informative answering all my questions. Daniel took pictures and videos of the entire house including the full basement and gave us a good estimate. I did have one other company come to the house for an estimate but after talking with Daniel it was clear that Petra would get the job. Daniel set up three possible moving dates for my son because he was waiting for escrow to close on the new house. Escrow did close when it was supposed to and Daniel was able to start the move immediately for us. What was thought to be a two day move ended up taking three days because of unforeseen glitches. Daniel and his team did a great job getting things boxed and moved to the new house. They were always there to start work when they said they would be there and worked till the job was done. I think Daniel underestimated how much work the move would take but stuck to the original estimate he gave my son. All of the work was done while moving around a three year old and a two year old. All the workers included having the kids help when packing their rooms. Daniel even found someone to come to the house he moved out of to do some minor repairs and get it ready to rent or lease since my son owned the house and was not going to sell it.Wait there's more. As it turned out the person doing the repairs ended up leasing the house with his family for a year. Thank you Daniel for helping in a time of need.

PETRA Moving Company is a small, Veteran owned and operated moving company. When I needed to move from West Virginia to Maryland, I chose Petra on a friends’ recommendation and was extremely happy with the services provided. I found them to be very flexible and cooperative in scheduling. Their packing and moving services were very efficient as well as of the highest quality. Their face-to-face operation was professional and exacting; and they paid attention to every detail of the move. Our move was complicated in that part of our household goods had to go into storage while the balance was to be point to point moving. All services were performed with quality being the highest concern for the company. On a scale of 1 to 10, they deserve a rating of an 11! I highly recommend Petra Moving Company for all moves, big and small with no limiting factors whatsoever.

Quick fast efficient. Nothing but the best from the my moving experience! Moving from state to state is not a problem. Even when I wasn't finished packing the patience and experience that I had with Daniel being a righteous man of God, he used his fruits of the spirit and worked with me!The company went the extra, extra mile to get me complete. I would recommend them anytime!
