If I could rate this location a zero, then I would definitely do so. Last Tuesday, I came into the T-Mobile store in hopes of purchasing a new phone. I normally do not prefer this location because the former associates were young-minded and uninformed about their job description. I also felt that the former associates cared more so about the selling of a phone and it's accessories rather than the customer service aspect. Since the T-Mobile store at The National Harbor was closed, I decided to take my chances at the T-Mobile store off of Livingston Road. Upon my arrival, I noticed so many young associates, but it was a new staff, so I was slightly optimistic. My first complaint is that this store does not require its employees to wear name badges nor do they introduce themselves. I was serviced by a young girl with bright red hair. She was pleasant and she was also vigilant in searching for the specific phone I requested. However, she did not set me up with the correct plan. I requested a plan that would allow me to pay off the phone in a short amount of time which would have been the 24- month plan. However, I was sold the JOD plan where it would take me longer to pay off the phone. Again, I asked this associate if I would be able to make additional payments to this phone and I was assured so. When I received the phone this past Wednesday, I was more than excited about my purchase. It took me a while to become familiar with the new features, but I was excited nonetheless. On today, I called T-Mobile's customer service line because I did not set up the phone correctly. To my surprise, I found out that JOD plan would not allow me to make additional payments as I initially requested. I was informed by the customer service representative to visit the store and rectify the situation.I returned to the T-Mobile store and I was greeted by a young girl with glasses and shoulder length locks. Again, the associate was not wearing a badge nor did she introduce herself. She was also confused on how to rectify my situation. In the midst of us talking, Mr. Richard Gomez enters the store. From my first impressions of him, I did not strike him as a store manager, but it was based off his demeanor. The associate called him over and informed him of my situation. He was very nonchalant in his response and I was not convinced that my problem would be resolved. This prompted me to call the T-Mobile's customer service number where I received clarity. Unfortunately, I had to return the phone and re-order the phone again in order to be set up with the correct plan. In all, this location is ghetto and I would not be inclined to even buy air from them. The associates seem unenthused about their position and they are not even knowledgeable about the products for which they are selling. Plus, the store manager, who is Mr. Gomez, seems to be a "buddy" to his employees rather than an effective leader. I will definitely not return to this location because of my piss poor experience.

I am extremely disappointed with the unprofessionalism of the manager by the name of Richard Gomez located in Oxon Hill Maryland. He was extremely rude and nasty, nothing was accomplished. Even if the Manager did not want to assist me, he could have at least faked it. I am a Manager myself and that type of behavior is unacceptable. He totally ignored my presence as the customer. I am a brand new t-mobile customer. I joined you all in Feb. 2020. I switch from another provider to join T-mobile in hopes to receive a better deal and better customer services. Sadly to say, that was not the case. He barely acknowledged my presence and when he did it was if he really did not want to assist me at all. With that being said, my issue was never addressed. The 2020 Apple Switch Promo 2 promotion is not accurate. It is basically false advertisement. I see that the only way to get my issue addressed is to contact the CEO. Working on that right now.

This specific location has the most unprofessional crew I have encountered. Maybe its the area? Either way avoid Oxon Hill, you will not be treated well. As a matter of fact, they treat you like you might be trying to steal a phone plan. lol

I have been a loyal happy T-Mobile Customer for many years, but now I see that its all about the money. In light of the current crisis in America you are putting your employees in the line of fire. You have people from other countries walking into your stores with no protections in place for your employees. Why haven't you shut down the stores to keep your employees safe? Why put them and their loved ones in jeopardy? Open up your T-Mobile Call Center for 24 hours and add some of your in store reps to the emergency center at least do that. Shame on you T-Mobile you shouldn't allow your Frontline to work without any protection from COVID-19 especially in Virginia where the cases are racking up. I bet your District Managers are in the comfort of their homes while the Frontline is being subjected to this deadly virus.
