During my return, Robert appeared upset and mentioned there was another store in my area, which I found unnecessary and unhelpful. He seemed rushed throughout the process, did not provide a paper receipt, and mixed my returns, which required me to double-check everything through email. Additionally, his body language and facial expressions gave me the impression that he did not appreciate handling my return.
As a loyal customer, I both purchase and return items at your store, and I believe every customer deserves the same courteous and professional service regardless of the reason for their visit. Returning items should not result in being treated with less respect.
I am sharing this feedback in the hope that it will help improve customer service standards at your store.

I had the absolute pleasure of shopping at J.Crew today, and I cannot say enough about the incredible help I received from Rayna (forgive me if I’m misspelling her name). From the very moment she approached me, her professionalism and genuine attentiveness stood out. As a Diplomat who is new to the city, I walked into the store feeling unsure if I would find the right fit, especially since my frame is a little larger from years of working out. In my experience, shopping can sometimes feel like a hit or miss, but Rayna completely turned that around for me.
She took the time to really listen to what I needed, guided me through the options without ever making me feel rushed, and offered thoughtful recommendations that worked perfectly for my style and size. What really impressed me was her attitude, warm, confident, and encouraging from beginning to end. It wasn’t just about making a sale; it was about making sure I left the store satisfied and set up for success. That kind of customer service is rare, and it deserves to be recognized.
In a city like Washington, D.C., where first impressions matter, whether on Capitol Hill, at the Pentagon, or in a diplomatic setting, appearance and fit play a critical role. Rayna not only understood that but made sure I had exactly what I needed to represent myself well. She truly saved the day for me, and I deeply appreciate her efforts.
Because of her, J.Crew has earned more than just a customer; you’ve gained an advocate. I’ll be praising this store at the top of the mountain here in the capital, letting colleagues and friends alike know about the outstanding service I received. I was very pleased with the sales in store and the vast selection of items. I really loved the various colors of the shorts and was happy I got a perfect outfit for my upcoming trip to Japan.

Very nice and friendly staff. Went out of their way to accommodate me. They honestly tried! But NOTHING in the store my size. I was just one size bigger than what they had in the store. The staff was very helpful and apologetic. I was trying to buy a whole outfit. ?

I am giving it a one start because of bad customer service. I was very polite with the cashier but I found that she was very short with me and seemed annoyed. I had place an order being my size was not in the store. The store it self has nice items but with bad customer service make most people not wanting to shop there. Shoppers BEWARE OF POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. Thanks for listening to my 2 cents.

This Factory location is well stocked for men and women. The children's section seemed a little lacking, but I did not have a reason to look other than while I was waiting in line. There was a sale when we visited, which was nice, but we didn't realize it until we reached the checkout area. If there isn't a sale, it's worth comparing the in-store prices to online prices because we did see a few items that were cheaper online. The wait to checkout can be a little lengthy, but that's not unexpected for a Factory location at an outlet mall.
