I needed a state inspection & after reading ALL the reviews of each authorized state inspection station in my area, I chose Auto Repair Center of Oxon Hill. This particular merchant has the most recent, positive reviews & judging from the way each one was written, I knew they were legitimate.The mechanics are highly skilled & equally efficient: It was a major relief to receive service that was friendly, fast yet thorough & most importantly, honest...all qualities which can be hard to find anywhere for anything. Furthermore, the sitting area was comfortable & the restroom was well-stocked & clean (attributes that are also rare in automotive shops). I'm very happy with my decision & have already told my family & friends to visit for their automotive needs. Thank you so much!

We just moved to Maryland and we needed state inspections for our two cars. It required one tire to be replaced on one car and wiper blades on the other to pass inspections. We were pressed with time but Diane did her utmost to resolve these items so we can make the appointment on time to DMV. Plaudits to Diane for her excellent service.

Jackie @ ARC has been my mechanic for over 20 years. I moved to Tampa a few years ago but was home visiting and needed an emergency repair on my vehicle before returning to Florida. Jackie squeezed me in and worked on a major suspension & brake repair all day. I'm eternally grateful to him and his mechanics for getting me back on the road!

I went here for a vehicle inspection. They were very professional and kept me in the loop when it came to the wait time. I would definitely go again. My only thing is that you can't really drop off your vehicle overnight. I guess it's just the area.

I called first thing in the morning to see if they had any availability for a state inspection. Hoping for something within the week. Lucky for me they took me right in.They started on my car and within 45 mins I was on my way.The entire inspection process was explained to me, the minor issue my car had was fixed on the spot. Glad I came here for service.

Simply excellent, now and always. I have been a VERY satisfied customer since 1992, and these guys are still going strong. Jackie and his team have always been reliable, professional, trustworthy, highly skilled, quick and reasonable, all of the best qualities you could want in an auto mechanic. They have NEVER steered me wrong, and as a person who keeps a vehicle for its life, they have maintained all of mine in top running condition for years. Coups, sedans, SUV's and trucks, they are the greatest!

I found these guys after I had spent a lot of money on my truck and another shop. I finally got tired of dealing with that repair place and went to Jackie at ARC. I was so impressed that now that is the only place I take my cars. The guys at Speed Center (closed now) told me to get some work I wanted there and sure enough jackie (ARC) came through.

BEST MECHANICS!, HONEST! and REASONABLE PRICES! EXCELLENT! I was visiting the National Harbor in MD and staying at the nearby Harborside Hotel on Oxon HIll Road. After filling my tank with gas at the Exxon station in preparation to drive back to NJ my car began to stutter, lurch and would not go forward or reverse. It stalled and I could not get it started. Lucky for me the ARC of Oxon Hill was right next to the gas station. The guys got my car started and after asking me lots of questions they figured out that I had chosen the REGULAR gas button but actually used the DIESEL hand pump at the Exxon Station! They repaired my car, charged a very reasonable price, and actually noticed a few other things that they repaired! My check engine light was on for YEARS and they found an evac hose that was disconnected!!!! WOW! I especially want to thank Jackie, and Bob who were friendly, professional and DAMN GOOD MECHANICS! Thanks a million!

Taking the family to the Outer Banks our car broke down in Oxon Hill. Seeing the shop nearby I ran over and spoke with Gary, the first person I saw in the garage. He kindly offered to take a look and diagnose the issue. After finding that the radiator fan motors had pulled away from the fans and the shroud, he went inside to see if he could procure the parts and do an emergency installation. Ultimately we had the car towed back to Glen Burnie to have the dealership take a look but the kindness and professionalism offered by Gary speaks volumes about the ownership of the shop and how they run their business. Thank you 1000 times over for helping in a stressful time. Would highly recommend these folks as they are top notch human beings. Their work must be great too.

Customer Service was excellent. Mechanics were fair and helped to explain my issue. Work was done for what I came in for. Explained what my car was doing (brake light), they topped off my brake fluid and did an inspection. Paid $105 for the inspection and brake fluid and they also secured my battery connection which was causing my car not to start and cut off. Really friendly. They recommended replacing my brakes, but I determined it wasn't necessary at the time. The price they quoted me was well below KBB. Will come again for my auto needs in the future Lord willing.
