Lunch was incredible and so delicious! Enjoyed the flatbread pizza with excellent caramelized onions. The mixed greens salad with fruit was perfect, too. Highly recommended.

This place is a great location with water views from the front porch. I had the wedge salad and it was very good. This property was recently sold and I am excited to see what the new owner does with it.

Beautiful location in charming, quaint Oxford -- the Inn is historical, but I didn't realize that meant we would have no hot water for bathing for the entire weekend we stayed there. Paying over $220 a night- I expected more. The bathrooms are in need of total remodeling -- looks like the last time they were touched was the 1960s. Very disappointed as we reached out to the hotel and never heard back.

Quaint historic inn. Views of the water. Convenient rooms, restaurant, and bar all in one location. Our room was spacious but the bathroom was super tiny but usable. The negative was that they have a problem w getting hot water to the rooms. In the morning I ran the hot water for ten minutes and it never got hot and so I took a very cold shower. Our friends were in another location in the Inn and they didn't have hot water either.Rooms: Rooms were all different since this is an historic inn. And because of that please dont expect modern amenities ... just enjoy the atmosphere. But you will have to walk up the stairs to rooms so if you have any issues climbing stairs that is a consideration.Walkability: Good location to walk to everything in town. We were going to the taste of Cambridge, so it was a great location to come back to after a cold rainy day outside.

The best crab cakes so far. I've eaten crab cakes every day since we are in Md. The blue cheese slaw was amazing.Food & drinks: Tonight s'more tinis. Already had a sampling. Yummy, save room in your tummy.

Lunch at the Tavern was everything we were led to expect it to be - and more! Service was flawless, our meals were excellently cooked and prepared and attractively presented. If anything, the quantity of food was a tad more than I am used to for lunch, but that is hardly anything to complain about. As far as value goes, considering the quality of the food and service, the cost was quite reasonable. In fact, I had expected the bill to be somewhat more than it was. We ate a late lunch on a mid-week afternoon and, as expected, the noise level was low. I cannot speak to what it might be at other times, but it was quite comfortable when we were there. We were delighted with the experience and hope to re-live it soon.

We had a very nice experience, as usual. The service was very good, the food excellent, and the ambiance very cozy and comfortable. First time for our daughter and her fiancé, and they enjoyed it as well.

Fantastic food and service! The crab cake and oyster po-boy are fabulous, and the sticky toffee pudding, created by the British born and trained chef, is a revelation! Don't miss it! Finally, to add to the sweetness of the meal, the staff will treat you like family. Run don't walk to the Inn!

WE waited 25 minutes for a server to come to our table. Our food was good however for a Eastern Shore restaurant the menu was very limiter in seafood selections. the ladies room needs to be updated. The servers were poorly dressed. The inn has a feeling of not being kept up. We were very disapointed. We would not recomened the Robert Morris INN. When the Gibsons owned the Inn it was first class.

The pork tenderloin is excellent. Portions of all dishes are quite large; fortunately they did not enforce their policy of extra charges for splitting orders. The service is less formal than the food. We sat in a booth which allowed for easy conversation.

Never disappoints at Robert Morris Inn. We ordered the specials which were perfection, though the rest of Fall menu looks so enticing that we will be back soon for more! Ideal spot for a fall or winter evening out and a great meal.

Fly infested Bottle 2, Food was fabulous, at times. Servers overwhelmed. While we appreciate keepers of History et al, We can see the upkeep of same is in need of help. Suggest a full time HandyMan. Hundreds of dollars of ours, not well spent.

We returned 42 years after a honeymoon at Robert Morris and selected a "superior" cottage to avoid the stairs. The cottage smelled like mold and mildew - visible mold above the sink (cleaned upon request). There is some type of air cleaner in the room doing something. Pink fixtures, peeling wallpaper and 60ish wall to wall carpeting complete the picture. Recommend AVOID the cottages. The food at the inn was great!
