I went for a simple oil change and they offered to change my transmission fluid. I paid $150 for the full transmission change and they just mixed the old fluid with new. After a few days I noticed a leak coming from my car so I took it back thinking it was the oil and they checked under the car and said the car saying everything dealing with the oil was right and said they couldn’t do anything to figure out the leak and recommended I take it to their garage and pay to have it looked at. I took my car somewhere else and was told the oil plug was cracked and I had lost a quarter of my oil. Valvoline refused to tell me what was wrong because they broke the plug and didn’t change my transmission fluid like they said

ValvolineSo today I went to Valvoline for an oil change. The last time I got an oil change from them was 9-20-2023. The guy that waited on me previously insisted that I get synthetic oil because it would last 6000 miles versus 3000 miles.They printed out a sticker at the end of my transaction to let me know when the next time I needed an oil change. It had 3000 miles versus the 6000 miles that I paid for. When I let the associate know he said that he was going to set my oil change indicator to 6000 miles to let me know when I needed an oil change.My oil change indicator came on and today I went to get an oil change. Of course they tried to get me to get synthetic oil. I agreed to get the synthetic oil, but when they printed out my sticker today it was still 3000 miles and I asked him why they are printing things out that gives me misleading information. He stated that you have to ask for a sticker that says 6000 miles in the beginning of the transaction. ( Which makes no sense) so I asked him about my indicator on my car and asked him if it is advising me to get an oil change at 3000 miles or 6000 miles. He stated that it has a factory setting and most of them are 3000 miles but the last associate lied and said it was set for 6000 miles.So I told the guy assisting me today that I didn’t need an oil change, but he did it anyway and he knew that it was not time because he knew that I did not go over 6000 miles and he was well aware of all of the services I had from 9/20.

I was served immediately upon arrival. We sat in the car for the entire oil change. The crew was attentive, professional, polite and funny. It really was a super quick oil change granted a bit pricey, but I was in and out in a hurry. I plan on returning in the future.

Great experience at this new location in Reisterstown. Charles was a delight and didn't try to sell us on anything we didn't need. Jarrod was quick and efficient. The whole process was super easy and I would come back again.

Service is exceptional. Reduced my normal service wait time tremendously. Was finished within 20 minutes. Only issue is the prices are higher than other maintenance centers, but for me it's worth the time saved.

By first experience was fabulous. Staff where friendly and helpful. This was my first vehicle so when my control planel warned me to change oil i thought it was necessary. I took the vehicle took there for oil change. Staff came and help rest the panel warning free of cost . If they had told it was required I could be unnecessarily changing the oil. They are very generous.i will surely be taking vehicle there again

They charged my card twice and said bc it was still pending it would returned later, it never was and now I’m waiting to settle a dispute….*editCars registered under a different name for sure but if you really checked you would see the name I have above is definitely listed on the card you charged… My card company and I will definitely be giving you a call, though!
