Salon 36 had such a friendly environment, and the staff was so friendly. Metin did my hair this past saturday, and he did such a wonderful job. He gave me exactly what i wanted and understood the assignment. ? He also did both of my friends hair last summer and it looked so good which is what made me want to go to him in the first place. I woukd recommend him for anyone looking for highlights on black hair and for something that’s simple and not that drastic. Definitely going to be coming back to him in the future for highlights again!

Update: still seeing Metin every couple of months. Still awesome and I love that he's quiet and doesn't need to make conversation. He remembers my hair color and cut. Happy client.
I found Metin years ago back when the Owings Mills Mall was still there. He gave me a nice cut, suitable for my thinning hair, plus my first ever highlights. I left feeling the happiest I ever had after a haircut. Fast forward years later and I saw Metin's name on a review for Salon 36. I figured there can't be that many Metins styling hair in Owings Mills, so I booked an appointment. It was indeed the Metin I had been looking for. He once again cut my scraggly hair into the best cut for my hair. I trust him to give me the right cut without even showing him photos or references. He's quiet, which I appreciate, but excellent at what he does. I'm glad I found him, and I'll be coming back. The salon itself is nice. A little small and a bit crowded for the COVID era, but everyone was nice, the premises were clean, and the prices were reasonable.

We had Kristy who was wonderful and did a great job on the cuts. Although this is a salon who normally does more elaborate styles and colors we were treated wonderfully, and my hair looks amazing. The front desk was super nice as well and the location is great. Will go back.Service: Haircut

Metin is an amazing hair stylist. My hair has never looked better in 4 decades ! He gave me the best blunt bob cut and color is perfect. There’s lots of depth to my blonde and the highlights are great. I get keratin light too every 3 months to keep it extra smooth and shiny. Metin couldn’t be better at what he dies all for a great price. I’ve gone for 4 years now & will never leave!

REVIEW FOR METIN: Today was my first time at Studio 36. I was scheduled with Metin who did an excellent job! I got a cut and balayage. I don’t get my hair done often, so this was perfect to stay blended as it grows out. I told Metin that I like my hair curly and he styled it with a curling iron. Maria was amazing. She cut, colored, and styled my hair with care, expertise and patience. I can't wait for my next appointment with her. She was gentle and professional, the kind of person you can't wait to recommend to friends and family! Mary washed my hair and my son's hair as well. She then took the time to organize helping me get a manicure, pedicure, and eyebrow waxing on the same day! Roz gave me an awesome manicure and pedicure. She took her time, cut my nails, and cleaned my cuticles well, which was highly important to me. Cassie cut and styled my son's hair. She was gentle, and he was happy with his new haircut. Lexi waxed my eyebrows and my lips. It was the first time I had my lower lips waxed. Also, she pretested the wax on herself, so she wouldn't risk burning me, which blew my mind. In all my years of getting wax, no one has ever done that before! Ellen Hawker .

The salon is in a great location, right off of Reisterstown Road. The interior is clean and the Staff is very friendly. Appointments are easy to book with very little wait time. Metin is my colorist and he is very good. He listens and he will give you the EXACT color you desire. I have always had a positive experience with this salon. Highly recommend.Service: Haircut

Metin Irmak always does a terrific job with my color and cut. I've been coming to him for many years! He really blends colors in well and handles longer and shorter cuts beautifully depending on my needs. Bonus: he doesn't feel an excessive need for small talk.
