I was scheduled at the beauty school to get a wash and curl but like more often than not it was disappointing because they always have something going on in there that is an inconvenience to the customers. Thankfully I knew that there were salons right across the lot so I went in. I wasn't sure about their walk in policy or even if any of the salons were open yet but I took my chances. Most of the salons weren't open yet so as I headed out one of the owners of the suites was coming in to work and I asked her,"if she could take me as a walk in and give me my desired style?" She responded so nicely that she was able to do so. Even though I paid 3xs the amount I would've at the beauty school it was professionally done by a woman who was about her business. I left very pleased with the results. Her suite was on the left like 3 doors from the end, she's the only suite in the back left that has a window. I forgot what it was called?. The decor was tropical and refreshing and she was very easygoing. I will definitely be back to her especially because my hair is natural and she was huge on maintaining and the upkeep of healthy hair. You have the options of coming pre washed but it was not mandatory. I'm old school so I like for the stylist to pamper me start to finish so no pre washing for me but to each their own. That also determines pricing.
