I purchased a new 2012 Toyota Camry Hybrid from this dealership when it was owned by the previous owner and slowly over the years, after replacing many of the outstanding employees, it became a cesspool of crap. I sent my daughter in to have the 12 volt hybrid batter replaced and an oil change. Costco would no do this and I figured the dealer was a safe bet even though it would be more expensive. Toyota lists two 12 volt batteries for this vehicle. One at approx 200 and another at ~ 300. I told her to get the cheaper of the two and of course the dealer said Toyota required the more expensive battery. I had to get off the phone so I said ok, thinking the total charge would be about $400 max. The dealer charged $376 plus tax for the battery and $10 for each terminal pad. Then they charged 1 hour of service to replace the battery. I told them not to test the system but to simply replace the battery so this would be a five minute job. Even someone who had never replaced a battery would agree that this is a quick job because it's located in the trunk behind a plastic partition. The total cost was $573 to replace a small 12 volt battery in a 12 year old car. They also wanted to charge $70 to replace the air cabin filter. Instead I purchased a better than OEM for $13 and put it in myself. My daughter had to take the car in a few days later to replace a grounding strap and I asked her to check on what we were charged for the previous service. The service advisor said the mechanics were contractors and charged whatever they wanted to charge. So I called the service manager. Mr Dave said he saw nothing wrong with what we were charged for the battery and that 1 hour was appropriate. He did clarify that my daughter was not correctly informed about the mechanics as they are not independent contractors and charged what the book listed. I informed him that I would never return to this dealership, after buying 2 cars from them in the last few years, and that this previous service friendly dealership was a den of thieves.

This is the third car in the last 4 years that we have bought there. There is a reason for it. Jin the sales manager was amazing. Erika we had worked with in the past and remained amazing as ever. It was out first time meeting Lane, and I cannot say enough good things about him.Mack... I "met" him when I called them to ask about inventory about a crossover for a crossover and made an appointment. I had to cancel it because I got Covid and I was going to be the one taking my mom over. He checked in to see how I was doing and then allowed me the time to get better. I know some companies frown upon the illusion that if you keep calling you will get the sale. I am glad Toyota is not one of those. It's not true- in my experience it turns most people off. Anywho, I digress run- don't walk to book an appointment with Mack. He is the complete opposite of everything you hate about sales people and/or going to a dealership. I hope Toyota knows what incredibly assets all the people name are. I want to highlight Mack because he gets people like us in the doors and made a very reluctant Spaniard buy a car within an hour when her plan was to shop around after this visit.

If you do your homework and stay firm with them, this place is not bad. Know your numbers before you go, and hit them up near a holiday or toward the end of the month and you may even score a deal, which has been unheard of in Toyota land since late 2020. Things are improving, and Heritage Toyota Owings Mills is part of that improvement. They can even sell under MSRP sometimes now.

I wanted to like this dealership and consider buying a car here because I had purchased one from the old R&H location years ago. But the salesperson, Rob, completely turned me off and pissed me off, and I knew I couldn't give them the business. Even after purchasing a car elsewhere, they are still trying to get my business, and that's just not right.

I emailed to see if a vehicle in their website was available, the "manager" sent me the specs which included a price. I went to the dealership and the vehicle wasn't available. At 3:40pm it was available for 49k. At 6:30 the price went up $10,000. Avoid Heritage Toyota.

This dealership is amazing and I'll explain why. The associates are all extremely friendly and professional. You walk in and you know you're gonna be taken care of promptly and with a smile. They sold my girl her car and let me just say that it was the best experience to date for her. The Store Manager John went above and beyond to get her the best deal. He worked with her and made sure that she was 100% satisfied. His persistence to guarantee the best deal is extremely appreciated. It's rare you go into a dealership and feel so comfortable. John is always ready and attentive to any concerns and that is rare these days.Lamont (probably spelled it wrong, sorry). Is always there with a smile and an eagerness to assist. He also assisted in my girl getting the best car and was right there for any questions she had. You never feel like you're annoying him, he instantly gives you his undivided attention. Lamont holds every car sold here with a high standard, even preowned. There is no discrimination or judgment, just passion, and honesty. I feel very comfortable going to him and my girl does too and that means the world to me.Financing is efficient and she takes her time making sure everything is correct. She explains things simply and makes everyone feel welcomed in her office. I think her name is Erika. I could be wrong and I'll adjust it later. My memory is bad. Anyway. This is an extremely inviting dealership, their inventory is large, reps ready to help you no matter which door you go through.Huge shout out to these guys. Thanks for getting my girl in her amazing Camry! The next dream is the Tundra! If I wasn't a Dodge girl, this dealership could switch me to a Toyota. I'm kidding, but seriously, thank you again!

John Kim, the general manager, is terribly rude, bossy and arrogant. His sales manager Chris cheated.Chris told me again and again that he would give me a better price than listed on a promotional email to me if I went to his store when I asked him about his price over the phone. I told him it would take me 1 and a half hours to get to his store, so I did not want to waste my time if his price was not better. He kept promising his price and refused to give me the price over the phone. After I got to the store, Chris was not available, so John Kim talked with me. He told me the price but it's higher than the list price. I told him what Chris promised me and I wanted Chris to apologize to me. John Kim refused to ask Chris to come and asked us to leave, otherwise he would call the police. He does not care what I was told by Chris and said he could do wahtever he wanted as this was his store. He did call the police and we had to leave as the store is a private property.

This location was very attentive with making me an appointment and being prepared for me on time. Bob M. was an excellent agent who assisted with each step of the trade. He even sent back my license when I had forgotten it there, no questions asked. I would recommend this location for trading your vehicle!

After making my purchase, had a few questions about the registration, unfortunately my calls are not returned. This is frustrating.I guess you should have everything answered before you buy. Or maybe consider buying from another dealer !
