5928 Falls Rd, Baltimore“I love this African bookstore. I took a healer there and she admitted that it’s very active in there. It always smells so good, the African fabric is very good quality. It’s so easy to get lost in this tiny store especially if you don’t know what you came for. Books, posters, tarot cards and BLACK KIDS BOOKS upstairs along with a friendly black cat that just wants some loving. And all of the essentials, jewelry, spell candles, incense, sage, crystals, soap, butter, African hair products, singing bowls and ritual equipment. Trust me you want to go to this store.”
“I've been coming to this shop for over 25 years. Amazing selection of whatever nerdy stuff you might like, big back issue collection, and a giant TV that's always playing movies. There's anything you can imagine here, funkos, toys, t-shirts, posters, trade paperbacks and hardcovers, and most weeks there's a sale going on. I used to come all the way from Silver Spring on a weekly basis just to get my new comics, and if I hadn't gotten married and had a few kids, I still would be. I love this place, and I love this town, and I love these people. Come check it out, if for no other reason than to see the space, it used to be a movie theater. It will become your regular weekly hangout.”
“Peace and Love to the World ?....... this institution is phenomenal ?. I was able to receive any and every book I wanted while I served a ten (10) year prison sentence. And their timing was on time every time.”
“I'm a big fan of Barnes and Nobles and love bookstores in general. My only issue with this location is no coffee shop. They do have a few spots where you can sit and read, but if you want to stretch out with a laptop and an iced mocha like I do, you need to buy your book here and then go a few doors down to Starbucks. So not a one stop shop like I am used to from the midwest.Otherwise they are a clean and well stocked store. I hope the internet doesn't kill this chain as well. I tend to buy from bookstores and happily pay more then online just for the presence of store where I can truly browse and get surprised by titles I would have never seen online.”
“Great seforim selection and the staff is very knowledgeable of their merchandise as well as knowing their customers to help them find the right sefer for their needs. I can spend a day just browsing in their easily ?”

7006 Reisterstown Rd, Baltimore“Honest store with good prices. Sometimes help is hard to find cause there is usually only one employee managing the store at any given time, so expect a long wait. But they treat you fairly.”

3655B Old Court Rd Suite 20, Pikesville“Absolutely amazing resource in so many ways! Right now my family is doing language lessons, but I know they also offer Russian immersion arts and crafts sessions and other events. Plus they have an expansive selection of Russian language books for sale. They're a great community resource. We're so happy to have found East-West Cultural Center!”
“Stopped by one day last week looking for books to set up a display for the service of my Dads passing. I was in a fog and trying hard to remember the books Dad had us read when we were kids without crying. I did not get the name of the very kind gentleman that took time from what he was doing to help me. He found the books i needed and reminded me of others. It meant the world to me & know those books do not just remind me of my Dad, but this kind gentleman as well.”
