This place is extremely rude and disrespectful. My mother was shopping here and gave the cashier person the money in the person's hand and the cashier put her change on the counter and looked at my mother and asked her "aren't you going to pick it up". I am not sure why people think that they don't need to have manners or respect for others in this day in age. A person's skin color or age shouldn't depict who is treated with it and who is not. Thank you to the fellow shoppers that supported my mother.

Immediately walking in the environment is stressful. After 10-15 minutes in the store I immediately thought about writing a review. I came to the review section for this store and my experience was definitely affirmed; the staff are rude and cranky. Horrible customer service. At my job we would never treat people this way and I was seriously appalled. I tried my best to be nice and patient but some of the ladies just shouldn't work there anymore. They're volunteers; if you can't volunteer with a positive attitude then you shouldn't volunteer at all.The stuff isn't bad but some things are not priced accurately and they don't negotiate.

Amazing thrift store. I can’t believe I’ve lived in the DMV for over 20 years and just discovered it. Many of the reviews say the staff there is rude, but that was not my experience. Then again I am not a POC. I’m a 60 year old Whyte woman . Some stuff is pricey e.g. I saw a Corningware dish with lid for $40, but altogether lots of items are cheap enough.

The staff is made up of volunteers yet incredibly mean. I have no clue how they managed to get away with such horrendous service. I was really looking forward to looking around and supporting a good cause, but due to their staff’s disrespect and barely doing their jobs, my day has been ruined. Wouldn’t recommend wasting your time here. Zero stars

I've been shopping here since the early 80s. Obviously prices have increased as everywhere else but one can find great items in good condition. Staff is set in their ways because they are older but friendly if given a chance.

I bought a total of 4 purses/handbags for only $40 plus tax. They were running a special, buy one purse and get the other 3 free. One of the purses was a brand new Nordstrom leather purse with the original tags ($119) still on the purse, the other was a beautiful black Lug purse with original tags on it, the other was a black Coach, and the other was a beautiful burgundy leather purse. Also, bought a brand new Free Country tankini top with the original tags on it. I think it is best to go on a weekday, as the thrift store is not as crowded. The store is pretty organized. The cashiers and staff that I dealt with were nice. All items were very reasonably priced. Would go back again!

Website needs regularly updated with their changing hours. Staff are Volunteers and not warm to many customers different looking from themselves. Good finds occasionally. Benefits local Medstar hospital

There was an absolutely insane number of people crammed into this shop today 9/16/2021 at 1:30 pm. I could count 10 people pressed up against the cash register counter plus two staffers. Do they not understand what social distancing is? They have been sloppy before, staffers wandering around without masks, but this is clearly a violation of our local Covid regs. Nothing here that I'm willing to risk getting Covid for. Shame on Montgomery County General Hospital for allowing this.
