Our children enjoy attending St. John's and we feel so fortunate that our children are receiving such a quality education from wonderful teachers and staff. The class sizes are small, and our children receive individual attention from their teachers to adapt to their individual learning styles. Our children enjoy their classmates, and the school is like a warm and welcoming community.

My son has been attending St. John's since Kindergarten and is now in the 4th grade. The greatest benefits are the small class sizes and individualized attention from teachers. Staff sincerely care about the development of students both academically and in character.

Having two kids with very different personalities, our family searched for a school that would benefit both and create well rounded individuals. Choosing St Johns nearly two years ago and bringing our kids into the school in 3rd and 5th grade has proven to be the correct decision to accomplish our goals. We knew that St Johns had an accelerated curriculum that would challenge our kids intellectually, but it also provides a wonderful, caring community. St. Johns stresses the importance of ensuring that the kids want to learn, and puts each in the best position to succeed. Small class sizes allow the teachers to understand the individual needs and personalities, while melding them together and providing a roadmap for success as a group. My kids have grown tremendously and neither one is hesitant to take on new challenges and both are continuously willing to step outside their comfort zones. I can unequivocally say that my kids come home every day with the support of their classmates, teachers, administrators and school families. Also -- the OASIS drama club and arts are unbelievable. Both of my children have embraced it completely (even our oldest who never showed much inclination for drama before) and they are so much more confident in front of people, both on and off stage, because of it.

We moved our son to St. John's in middle school and are thrilled with the decision. He is challenged academically, the teachers go above and beyond to provide enriched curriculum in addition to the class syllabus. The small class size is wonderful and the values taught allow the students to be comfortable in the school, thus enabling them to focus on the education and meaningful friendships with classmates.

We recently moved to the area, so we did an extensive search of the local schools. We choose St. John's Episcopal School for our three children and have been very pleased. We appreciate the welcoming community, many fun traditions and the high academic standards. The best surprise has been the passion and dedication of the teachers. We are looking forward to many more years at STJES!

We really love St. John's. My daughter has been there since pre-k and she is now a very confident, out-going, kind, and courageous fifth grader. St. John's has great participation in my daughter's education. They have small classes and very talented teachers. I really recommend St. John's.

A year ago, my wife and I decided to stop homeschooling our five year old and place him into a traditional school. We enjoyed the attentiveness and personalization that homeschool granted but because of career obligations, it was no longer feasible. We decided that if we couldn’t homeschool, we would send him to a private school, so he could still get a little more attention than he would at public school. Our son can be strong-willed and rambunctious, so we knew he would need it. Thus, we started touring every private school in a 30-mile radius. Out of the dozens of schools we visited, St. John’s stood out amongst the pack. There is an instant warmth and hominess to the school. The staff is always super-friendly and accommodating. It just had a good vibe. And my son agreed. It was his first choice as well, and when we eventually decided to enroll him there, he nearly jumped out of his skin when we broke the news to him. That was last year. Since then, he has been enrolled in their first grade class, and we all couldn’t be more pleased. The positive vibes we had were affirmed. St. John’s is such a tightknit community. It’s a place where everyone knows each other’s names. Most of the parents are involved with the school or church. Several members of the staff are parents of current or former St. John’s students. We are in constant contact with his teacher. If there is ever a problem, we know about it immediately.I couldn’t be happier with my son’s education thus far. The classrooms are small enough where all the children can get the attention they need. The curriculum and/or teachers must be engaging because everyday when I get home, he’s excited to tell me all about the cool stuff he learned. Beyond the academics, St. John’s strives to build children of “character and faith,” as they put it. They teach them about things like diversity, courage, persistence, and generosity. These are things that start at home but it’s nice when your school shares your values. It helps to instill these traits, and it seems to be working. I like the person my child is becoming.I highly recommend St. John’s.

Our son loves St. John's and so do we. We appreciate the small class sizes and accelerated academic program. The fact that public speaking is a skill that is fostered from kindergarten on is wonderful, and the focus on the students as members of a larger global community is great.

We decided to invest in a private school education for our son because we wanted him to feel the sense of community STJES offers. The teachers and staff are dedicated to educating the whole person in every facet- academics, faith, responsibility, leadership. He is learning, thriving and couldn't be happier.

SJES has provided my daughter the best education I could have ever asked for. She loves school and everything about it! The care that the staff give to the students is so wonderful. STES has been nothing but a blessing. Everyday when my daughter goes to school I know she is not only taken care of but she is getting an exceptional education.

St. John's is a welcoming, diverse school that prides itself on academic excellence. Our child has been attending the lower school for 3 years and we are thrilled with the progress and advancement of the entire class. The small class sizes allow for the students to be focused and learning at all times. In addition the all-inclusive music arts program for every grade, every student, is inspiring. As well, the administration does an amazing job at making sure your needs are met and the school continues to thrive. I have met amazing parents and students at St. John's and am so happy to be a part of this community.
