Overcrowded is an understatement. You can’t keep selling memberships when the gym is so full that customers have to park at the bank next door, wait 15 mins to use a machine, and get yelled at by staff for being the 9th person in the sauna. ?And then demand over $100 to cancel my membership.

In its entirety, this is pretty high quality gym. Very good quality machines and a sleek look but thats about it. Imagine paying 40-50 dollars for a month under a one year contract just to be at an over crowded gym with only the bare minimum. Not to mention the hours! Weekday hours are okay considering the run time is from 4 am- 11pm but there can definitely be an improvement on that by at least an hour. Fri-sun hours on the other hand are terrible. Not only do they open later than 4 am but they also close extremely early. Anyone no matter what social class you’re in could agree that for its price, this is a pretty mediocre gym.Personally, the biggest issue for me is definitely the hours and the lack of versatility in the equipment. I would expect so much better but I feel ripped off to say the least.

My parents who are not fluent in English had difficult time setting up the accounts, and schedules. Lee who works at Olney location was patient and very helpful explaining the steps for my parents. Also, he reached out to me, and explained step by step how to setup the accounts and schedule so that I can explain it to my parents. He was very professional, detailed and polite through out the phone conversation. Furthermore, he text me so that I can reach out to him if I had any questions. This was Above & Beyond and outstanding customer service by Lee. I highly recommend this location.

4.5 out of 5. Very clean. Plenty of equipment. Professional and knowledgeable staff. Well worth the money. However, there are four areas that would be needed to make it 5 solid stars; 1. Provide Military and First Responder discounts. 2. Provide personnel to monitor swim times. 3. Reduce the cost of the refrigerated drinks, and 4. Install a cold-served protein shake bar (at an additional cost of course).

Best gym in the world. The staff and trainers are so friendly, helpful, and motivating. They have all the equipment you need and the overall vibe is just perfect. Staff is frequently cleaning up and putting weights back in their place - just the best!!!

Super clean facility with just about everything one could ask for: multiple squat racks, free weights, pulling sleds, kettlebells, Airdyne bikes, Assault treadmills, yoga room, workout studio, swimming pool, hydro massage bed, and so much more! Shout out to gym manager Alex Switzky and his staff for the extraordinary customer experience and care!

First and probably the last time at one life fitness . Yesterday my friend and I got invited by two of our friends to try out the gym they go to. We arrived approximately around 5am , excited to see what it felt to try out a new gym. Paul the front desk receptionist gave us the most nastiest attitude EVER! He asked if my friend and I were new , we said yes but that my friend was a member about 3 years ago ( Paul did not say anything about that and proceed to tell us about a raffle that was going on ) we finished signing in when Paul goes " so who's paying for her " my friend thought he was joking so she said " she will pay ". He charged my friend $11 fee , my other friend did not understand why she was being charged if she was a member years ago and just wanted to try it out again . He mocked my friend and told her if she did not stop asking question he would consider the discount he was giving us .I have never felt so unwelcome somewhere until I went to this gym and got treated the way my friends and I did. I really do hope something is done about this .

I never leave Yelp reviews; in fact this is my first time. I have been a member for three years and never have I experienced such rudeness from a staff member like I did today... at 5AM ! 5AM ! My friend was charged a fee to be a guest at the gym -- we were not aware of the gyms policy, nor were we explained that if you were a memeber before and wanted to visit the gym you pay a $22 fee. My friend then decided to question Paul and he obnoxiously mocked her and yelled at her stating we should be appreciative he is giving us a discount. This was very unprofessional and much rather inappropriate. I am very disappointed. & I if I were my guest visiting the gym, I do not think I would want to become a member.

Gym guest! This morning my friend and I walked in with 2 guest and the member representative in the front desk made a big deal about an ex member that was visiting the gym after a long time however policy was not explained from the beginning so I was a bit confused to be charged a fee. However the fee is not the problem the problem is that he mocked me and had a terrible attitude. He then yelled at me and told us she couldn't go in until she paid. I believe his name is Paul.No one deserves disrespect nonetheless and long time member like myself. I am very disappointed

My friends had invited me to this gym ( it was four of us going into the gym) . We went this morning and I was very excited to actually workout at this gym and try it out again. I was a ex member from 2019 but never actually worked out at the gym. I was checking in around 5:00am and Mr Paul was very rude. He asked me if I have been to the gym and I said yes. but he didn't say anything else. I finished checking in. Once I finished he said " so who is paying" I thought he was joking around with us because I am a guest and he never explained that there was a $11 fee if I have been there before when I was checking in. He started to argue with my friend because she was trying to ask why was I going to pay $11 and he started to get very smart with us. I was returning and my other friend was her first time and this just made us not want to come back at all. We have been looking for a new gym because we work at medstar and its closer to work but the nasty attitude was uncalled for. The customer service needs to be worked on.

5 stars for equipment and classes offered, 2 stars based on the crowds. It’s impossible to get a workout in 5-7 pm after work - to find a parking spot, to avoid lines at the machines, and it’s impossible not to bump into high school/college kids. The crowds is what’s made me cancel my membership, it’s not worth the crowds and feeling like I need 2 hours to get a 1 hour workout in or to go at 8 pm or 6 am, which is not feasible for me. A shame, since the facility itself is quite nice.I would recommend needing to sign up for the gym like you would gym classes - 24 hours prior, can pick a 5 or 6 pm slot since that’s the peak hours.
