Olney Theatre Center for the Arts produces, presents and tours extraordinary performances for a diversity of audiences, and educates and inspires the next generation of theater-makers.
Our programming includes a combination of new and classic musicals, dramas and comedies. We also offer classes, camps, and community engagement programming throughout the year. In the summer, our Olney Outdoors series on the Root Family Stage at Omi's Pavilion brings a variety of concerts, cabarets, drag shows, and films for the whole community.
Our year-long apprentice program provides early-career theatre-makers with on-the-job training in return for a weekly stipend, housing, along with professional development opportunities and mentorship.
