Stay far away from this place. Usually I don’t take time to write reviews but they are EXTREMELY unprofessional. They didn’t have anyone at the front to greet or take appointments and just yelled across the room “sorry we busy”. Gave them a second chance months later and same unprofessional service. Never will see foot there again!!

Unprofessional and rude. This salon turns away business at 3:30pm in the afternoon!! The technician in the first chair is rude, unaccommodating and not about customer service. We will not be using them or referring our friends. Too bad!

The people were very friendly, and the results were great. Young was very careful about working with some calluses, and she kept my comfort in mind. Definitely worth my repeat business!

I first learned about this nail salon from a friend who grew up in Olney. I live about 30 minutes away but wasn't satisfied with the prices/product of my nails in DC. I cannot rave enough about the nail tech "My" she is absolutely amazing. The price is an absolute bargain especially for what you get.

Things were going so well at first. I REALLY wanted to like this place. Top notch customer service and everything... until the next appointment came in. Then it was almost like the nail tech couldn't wait to get me out of there. I asked for one nail to be fixed (there was a chunk of dip missing near the cuticle so there was a weird slope at the bottom of my nail) and I immediately felt a shift. The tech rushed to file the dip of my nail that was messed up with an electric drill and I think she went too deep because I felt a tingling feeling that I get when I've cracked a nail. Because she rushed the nail looks worse than it did before. It was very sloppily "redone" and so now I have dip powder practically glued all over my nail which is a big no no, the nail is still not fixed AND I think she messed up my nail bed. I still tipped but probably won't come back.

Several years here have proven the staff to be kind, friendly, and skilled. The salon is always clean. Great flexibility with appointments, but please make one. My husband also get pedicures here and enjoys the experience for a very needed service. Foot care is not vanity, it’s health care for many. “My” does my nails and I adore her. She goes to uttermost to accommodate her customers. Prices are reasonable. ATM in the shop. The ONLY negative is CASH ONLY.

I really do think they do a great job here. The owners are very kind and welcoming. They always manage to accommodate my schedule and my nails look great for days longer then other salons. Nothing too fancy, just very good work which is perfect for me.

Please go to Nail Works and ask for VAN. I am a loyal customer and I have been for 11years. VAN is professional, Friendly, passionate, and Patient (lord knows she needs patience dealing with me..lol). My teenage girls even go to Van and she does an AWESOME JOB!!

Decided to try this salon and was very happy with my experience. The place is very clean. All the staff was friendly as well as my technician. They seemed to know many of their clients by name, greeting them as they arrived. I'll definitely go back

Terrible service. The lady ripped off my acrylic nails instead of soaking them in. I told her many times she was hurting me and she kept going. I was in pain and she didn't care and her answer when I said over and over that she was hurting my nails was "You are too weak that's why". I explained to her I'm under cancer treatment and my nails are thin but she did not care at all. And keep repeating "this is easy, this is easy". NEVER EVER AGAIN. Plus she left part of the glue and acrylic in my nails and when I told her she said "they need to grow". Wow!

Came here because of several suggestions of Van for ingrowing nails. All the rave was right! Left here with no pain, and the French tip is great My did my hands, very quick on her feet and was able to get them while getting my pedicure. Overall happy costumer. Both were gel and paid $80, $45 for pedi and $35 for mani.
