Avoid this Olney branch if you can, it has the worst possible customer service. We are a loyal m&t customers, I came to get help to open a new account there's a banker named Aziz who made us wait for 15 minutes he said he will help us open one and after the wait just came in and said he cannot help us and that we schedule an appointment. This is on a day when they are not busy! It's ridiculous! They are slow, incompetent and rude.

Manager is lazy and unprofessional. Does not train employees properly. I went to cash a check, and could not do so because I misplaced my ID. Obviously, this is essential to cash a check so I returned home to look for it. When I could not find it, I called before I returned to ask if my valid out of state ID which had my former last name could be used. The teller told me over the phone, "I CAN cash the check with an out of state ID, and my divorce decree stating my last name is changed". Got to the bank , and because I didn't bank with them I couldn't cash the check. This information should have been confirmed with a manager BEFORE I was told otherwise. Instead of the manager coming over to tell me herself, she avoids eye contact with me and sends the timid teller to tell me. Never will I bank with M & T.
